Patrick Ehelechner (born September 23, 1984) is a German retired professional ice hockey goaltender. [1]
Ehelechner was the 139th overall pick in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft for the San Jose Sharks. He began his professional career in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga with the Hannover Scorpions in 2002. Between 2003 and 2005, Ehelechner played with the Sudbury Wolves of the Ontario Hockey League. He played the 2005–06 season for the Adler Mannheim and the Füchse Duisburg. On July 26, 2006, he was traded along with Nils Ekman from the Sharks to the Penguins in exchange for a second round pick in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
Jeffrey Daryl Friesen is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. He played over 800 games in the National Hockey League, spending roughly half his career with the San Jose Sharks, who drafted him in the 1994 NHL Entry Draft. The rest of his career was spent with the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, New Jersey Devils, Washington Capitals, and Calgary Flames. He won the Stanley Cup with the Devils in 2003.

In September 2015, he failed to catch on with the Toronto Maple Leafs after being initially signed to a professional tryout (PTO) contract during training camp. He eventually signed with HC Davos of the Swiss National League A where he spent the 2015–16 season. In September 2016, he made the Los Angeles Kings out of training camp and signed a one-year, two-way contract for the 2016–17 season.
