Pueblo Transit is the public transportation operator for the metro area of Pueblo, Colorado. Formed in 1971 after a previous public-private transportation alliance went bankrupt, the agency provides eleven routes. In 2008, the organization made it so all buses were equipped with electronic fare collection boxes, which are designed to encourage more ridership by avoiding the exact-fare requirement of most transit systems.

An automated fare collection (AFC) system is the collection of components that automate the ticketing system of a public transportation network - an automated version of manual fare collection. An AFC system is usually the basis for integrated ticketing.

A reduced fare program refers to special programs providing particular passengers with a discounted fare option for travel on a public transport system. In the United States, public transportation systems that receive federal funding are required to offer, at minimum, half fares to the elderly and handicapped persons during off peak travel. Some transportation systems also extend reduced fare options to youth, students, military personnel, and low-income passengers.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">North Central Regional Transit District</span>

The North Central Regional Transit District operates a network of several local and intercity bus routes in northern New Mexico, serving Santa Fe, Española, Taos, and many smaller communities along a network of 25 fixed routes and one demand-response route, one dial-a-ride and complementary Paratransit service in the Taos area. Routes operate Monday through Friday only, with the exceptions of the "Taos Express," which operates only on weekends, the Mountain Trail route to the Santa Fe National Forest and Ski Santa Fe, which operates daily, and seasonal daily service from the Town of Taos to Taos Ski Valley. All routes are fare-free, with the exception of the Taos Express and Mountain Trail route which are premium fare-based routes. <span class="mw-page-title-main">Fredericksburg Regional Transit</span>

Fredericksburg Regional Transit or FRED is a bus transit system that operates in and around Fredericksburg, VA. It provides year-round bus service to Spotsylvania and Fredericksburg, with commuter shuttles to the Fredericksburg station for connections to Amtrak and Virginia Railway Express. Most service operates Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm. It also provides service late nights and on weekends when the University of Mary Washington is in session. The administrative offices and main passenger transfer facility are located at 1400 Emancipation Highway in Fredericksburg, and is commonly known as "FRED Central."

Manatee County Area Transit (MCAT) provides public transportation for Manatee County, Florida and is operated by the county. the system had about 4,100 riders per weekday as of the fourth quarter of 2022.
