Samuel Joseph Ray (born April 25, 1991), also known by the name of his solo electronic project Ricky Eat Acid, is an American musician from Baltimore, Maryland, most well known for his involvement in his band Teen Suicide.

History

Sam Ray began the Ricky Eat Acid project on February 22, 2010 with the song "Angry Clouds", which appeared on his debut album Sometimes You Make People Sad, released on May 21, 2010. [1] It was followed up by the release of Ray's first EP, HUGS on July 16, 2012, as well as his second album You Get Sick; You Regret Things on September 8, 2010. In between releasing EPs for a new project "Dead Virgin", Ray released the EPs Dance With U and Sometimes We're Blue in October and November of 2010 respectively. [2] A year later he released an album titled Haunt U Forever via Chill Mega Chill. [3]

In January 2012, Ray released a song titled "A Smoothie Robot For Moon Mansion" via Bad Panda Records. [4] In December of the same year, Ray released a remastered version of You Get Sick; You Regret Things via Orchid Tapes. [5]

In January 2014, Ray released his third full-length album (second with Orchid Tapes) titled Three Love Songs. [6] [7] On July 8, 2014, Ray self-released an EP titled Sun Over Hills. [8] [9] On July 15, 2014, Ray released a single titled "Pull (May15)" via Secret Songs. [10] [11]

In January 2015, Ray released a song titled "Context" via Canvasclub. [12] [13] In May 2015, Ray released a mixtape titled Mixtape. [14] [15]

On May 25, 2016, Ray married electronic artist Kitty in DeLand, Florida. [16] On September 8, 2016, Ray debuted the first song titled "Hey" off of his latest album titled Talk To You Soon, which was released on October 28, 2016, via Terrible Records. [17]

His major label debut, Careless World: Rise of the Last King (2012) peaked at number four on the Billboard 200, received platinum certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), and saw generally positive critical reception. It spawned the Billboard Hot 100-top 40 singles "Rack City" and "Faded". His third album, Hotel California (2013) was met with trailing critical and commercial response, along with his collaborative album with singer Chris Brown, Fan of a Fan: The Album (2015).

Bobby Ray Simmons Jr., known professionally as B.o.B, is an American rapper. Raised in Decatur, Georgia, Simmons signed with producer Jim Jonsin through his Rebel Rock Entertainment label in 2006. Two years later, he and Jonsin signed a joint venture recording contract with fellow Georgia rapper T.I.'s Grand Hustle Records, an imprint of Atlantic Records. Following his major-label deal, Simmons quickly achieved commercial success when his 2009 debut single, "Nothin' on You", peaked the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and received Grammy Award nominations for Record of the Year, Best Rap Song, and Best Rap/Sung Collaboration at the 53rd Grammy Awards.

RockaByeBaby is the first mixtape by American singer Cassie, released on April 11, 2013, by Bad Boy Records. It was her first full-length project released since her self-titled debut studio album Cassie (2006). Following the premiere of the track "King of Hearts" in February 2012, which was initially announced as the lead single from her upcoming second studio album, Cassie announced that she would be releasing a mixtape. Ghost Orchard is the stage name of American lo-fi musician Samuel Jacob Hall. Hall is from Grand Rapids, Michigan.
