"Roses" is a song by Guyanese-American rapper Saint Jhn,originally released on July 22,2016 [4] and later included on his 2018 album Collection One . Originally produced by Fallen,it was remixed by Kazakh producer Imanbek and released as a single on September 18,2019. The remix of the song helped the song gain international recognition after it was featured on a Snapchat filter and on video-sharing app TikTok where it received over 4.5 billion plays in the month of April 2020. [5] [6] [7] On May 27,2020,a second remix produced by Quay Global and Fallen was released with American rapper Future. [8] On July 20,2020,a music video was released for the second remix. The remix's music video budget was bumped to help bail funds for arrested protesters and aid black-owned businesses and the Black Lives Matter movement,all regarding the George Floyd protests that started during May 2020. On July 17,2020,a second version of the Imanbek remix was released,featuring an extra verse by Jhn and a featured verse by Colombian singer J Balvin. [11]
A then-19-year-old Kazakh musician and producer,Imanbek,remixed the song in early 2019;it was officially released as a single in October 2019 through Effective Records,B1 Recordings and Godd Complexx/Hitco. [6]
Following the release of the Imanbek remix,"Roses" peaked at number four on the Billboard Hot 100. Outside of the United States,"Roses" topped the charts in Australia, [12] Canada,Ireland, [13] and the United Kingdom. [14]

"Belly Dancer (Bananza)" is the fourth single from R&B singer Akon's debut studio album,Trouble. "Belly Dancer (Bananza)" peaked at number 30 on the Billboard Hot 100. Outside of the United States,"Belly Dancer (Bananza)" peaked within the top ten of the charts in the United Kingdom. The song samples "The Lunatics (Have Taken Over the Asylum)" by Fun Boy Three and "Body Rock" by Treacherous Three,and borrows from the chorus of "For What It's Worth" by Buffalo Springfield. It was used in the 2009 teen comedy film Fired Up!. A remix of the track,featuring Kardinal Offishall,was later included as a B-side to "Pot of Gold".
"9 PM (Till I Come)" is a song by German DJ and producer ATB from his debut studio album,Movin' Melodies (1999). It was co-written by ATB,Angel Ferrerons,Julio Posadas and Yolanda Rivera. It features vocals by Spanish model Yolanda Rivera and a pipe organ hook created on guitar. The track's hook would later be reworked into the single "Don't Stop!" in 1999,which also featured on Movin' Melodies and also proved very popular.

The single was serviced to United States contemporary hit radio on 18 July 2017. A remix version with American singer Beyoncéwas released on 28 September 2017. In 2021,Imanbek won a Grammy for his remix of "Roses",becoming the first Grammy recipient from Kazakhstan,and the first Grammy award winner in a non-classical category from within the CIS.
