Roslyn House is a historic hotel located at Roslyn Heights in Nassau County, New York. It was built about 1870 and is a two-story Italianate style building. It is a rectangular, five-bay-wide frame building, clad in clapboards and set on a brick foundation. It has a hipped roof. It features a second-story porch along the front and south facades supported by Doric order columns. [2]

It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1990. [1]

Roslyn Cemetery United States historic place

The Roslyn Cemetery is a historic cemetery located on Route 25A in the town of Greenvale, Nassau County, New York. It is owned by the Roslyn Presbyterian Church which is located within the Village of Roslyn. The Roslyn Cemetery is a product of the "Rural Cemetery Act" of which one of the many intents was to move burial grounds away from the local church and community as well as to design the grounds in a park like setting. This is clearly evident in the "Roslyn Cemetery" which is more like a botanical garden than a cemetery. Interments began in the 19th century and it continues to accept burials today. The cemetery has many notable figures as well as a section dedicated to fallen Civil War soldiers.

The Main Street Historic District is one of two such districts in the village of Roslyn, New York. It is, as its name suggests, located along Main Street between North Hempstead Turnpike and East Broadway, incorporating Tower Street and portions of Glen Avenue and Paper Mill Road.

It was designed by architect Samuel Adams Warner and built about 1875 and is a ​1 12-story, vernacular Swiss chalet–style frame dwelling on a partially excavated stone basement. It features a broad, overhanging gable roof with jerkin heads. An L-shaped gallery projects from the south and west sides, and the gallery deck is embellished by scroll-sawn fascia.

The main house is a large, ​2 12-story, Flemish Revival building constructed about 1863 and altered twice between 1876 and 1932. It features a complex roof plan, including numerous gables in the forms of cross gables, wall dormers and roof dormers, most of which are Flemish gables with bold molding. Also on the property are a contributing boathouse and rustic gazebo.

It is a large, ​2 12-story, Jacobethan Revival–style house constructed of concrete and faced in red brick. A 2-story gable-roofed Great Hall wing has a stone clad foundation and terminates in a five-sided bay to the north. Also on the property is a contributing former ice house.

From 1892 to 1914, it was the property of Nora Godwin, granddaughter of William Cullen Bryant.

Springbank is a historic home located at Roslyn Harbor in Nassau County, New York. It was built about 1835 and expanded and modified in 1880. A two-story rear addition was completed in 1959. It exhibits building construction and stylistic details from a number of periods. The first renovation was a conversion of the original simple dwelling to a Swiss cottage style building. Details added include the Dutch door main entry, full front porch, overhanging roof, front dormer, and a seven-foot addition. It features a deep front porch on the front elevation with sawn brackets. The property was once owned by the family of William Cullen Bryant.

Located on the corner of Old Northern Boulevard and Remsen Avenue, it is a one-story, rectangular brick building with a flat roof in a modified Classical Revival style. The front facade is three bays wide and features a Tuscan order wood portico with paired columns.

Roslyn Savings Bank Building is a historic commercial building located at Roslyn in Nassau County, New York. It was originally built on the site of the former Roslyn Hotel in 1932, with additions dated to 1963 and 1980. The original structure consists of a one-story banking hall with a gable roof, with a two-story flat roofed office block in a Georgian Revival style. The original front facade is five bays wide with a center entrance and features an elaborate, pedimented stone surround.

The Roslyn Flats is a historic building located on the hill above downtown Davenport, Iowa, United States. It was constructed in 1901 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. The apartment building was one of several that were built near the campus of Palmer College of Chiropractic.
