In radio communications, single-sideband modulation (SSB) or single-sideband suppressed-carrier modulation (SSB-SC) is a type of modulation used to transmit information, such as an audio signal, by radio waves. A refinement of amplitude modulation, it uses transmitter power and bandwidth more efficiently. Amplitude modulation produces an output signal the bandwidth of which is twice the maximum frequency of the original baseband signal. Single-sideband modulation avoids this bandwidth increase, and the power wasted on a carrier, at the cost of increased device complexity and more difficult tuning at the receiver.

Frequencies immediately below MF are denoted as low frequency (LF), while the first band of higher frequencies is known as high frequency (HF). Mardalsfossen is a waterfall in Molde Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is sometimes referred to as one of the tallest waterfalls in Europe. The falls are on the Mardøla river which flows out of a hanging valley into the lake Eikesdalsvatnet, about 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) northwest of the village of Eikesdalen. The waterfall was depicted in the coat of arms of the old Nesset Municipality.
Limingen (Norwegian) or Lyjmede (Southern Sami) is a lake in the municipalities of Røyrvik and Lierne in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is the eighth-largest lake in the country. The lake lies 418 m (1,371 ft) above sea level; and has an area of about 93 km2 (36 sq mi). At the deepest point, it is 192 m (630 ft) deep and averages about 87 m (285 ft) deep. The lake has a volume of about 8.1 km3 (1.9 cu mi) and is located just north of the large lake Tunnsjøen. The border with Sweden lies about 725 metres (0.5 mi) east of the lake.
The Stuttgart Stadtbahn is a semi-metro system in Stuttgart, Germany. The Stadtbahn began service on 28 September 1985. It is operated by the Stuttgarter Straßenbahnen AG (SSB), which also operates the bus systems in that city. The Stuttgart Stadtbahn is successor system of a tram network (Straßenbahnen) that characterized the urban traffic in Stuttgart for decades.
