Daniel "Danny" Nalliah is a Sri Lankan Australian evangelical Christian pastor and young earth creationist. He was the leader of the now-dissolved Rise Up Australia political party and is the president of Catch the Fire Ministries. Nalliah defended against a lawsuit brought by the Islamic Council of Victoria under Victoria's Racial and Religious Tolerance Act. In this case,Judge Michael Higgins found in favour of the Islamic Council of Victoria,which took the action against Catch the Fire,but his decision was overturned by the Victorian Court of Appeal.
Liberty Counsel is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt religious liberty organization that engages in litigation related to evangelical Christian values. Liberty Counsel was founded in 1989 by its chairman Mathew Staver and its president Anita L. Staver,who are attorneys and married to each other. The Southern Poverty Law Center has listed Liberty Counsel as an anti-LGBT hate group,a designation the group has disputed. The group is a Christian ministry.
Harry R. Jackson Jr. was an American Christian pastor,Pentecostal bishop,and author who served as the senior pastor at Hope Christian Church in Beltsville,Maryland,and served as the presiding bishop of the International Communion of Evangelical Churches. He was also a social conservative activist and commentator and was known for his opposition to same-sex marriage and abortion. Jackson was the founder and chairman of the High Impact Leadership Coalition,an organization of ministers who promote socially conservative causes,and was a co-founder of The Reconciled Church Initiative. Jackson died in November 2020 of unknown causes.

Since its inception in the early 1970s,it has been involved in the fields of Christian apologetics and the Christian counter-cult movement. Its current president is Dr. Mark J Harris. In its role as a think tank,SCP has sought to publish evangelically based analyses of new religious movements,New Age movements,and alternative spiritualities in light of broad cultural trends. SCP has also been at the center of two controversial U.S. lawsuits,one involving church-state issues and the other being a religious defamation case. It published the SCP Journal and Newsletter.

Global-Tech Appliances,Inc. v. SEB S.A.,563 U.S. 754 (2011),is a United States Supreme Court case. The case considered whether a party,in order to "actively [induce] infringement of a patent" under 35 U.S.C. §271(b),must know that the induced act constitutes patent infringement,or whether deliberate indifference to the existence of a patent can be considered a form of actual knowledge. In an 8–1 decision delivered by Justice Samuel Alito,the Court held that induced infringement requires knowledge of patent infringement,but because the petitioners had knowledge of a patent infringement lawsuit involving the respondent and Sunbeam Products over the same invention,the Federal Circuit's judgement that petitioners induced infringement must be affirmed under the doctrine of willful blindness.
