Senator Stephen Benton Elkins House, also known as Halliehurst, is an historic mansion located at Elkins, Randolph County, West Virginia. It was designed by architect Charles T. Mott and built in 1890, as a summer home for U.S. Senator Stephen Benton Elkins. It consists of a three-story main block with hipped roof and service wing. The roof is punctuated by towers, turrets, dormers, and chimneys. A porch surrounds much of the first floor. It features a two-story portico with columns around a central, flat roofed tower. Located on a mountainside, it commands a view of the valley beneath and the forest and mountain peaks that surround the valley. In 1923, the house and approximately 60 acres of land were deeded to Davis & Elkins College by Sen. Elkins' widow.
The Aviary is a historic aviary building located in Miller Park at Lynchburg, Virginia. It is a Queen Anne-style structure erected in 1902. The multi-sided exhibition house was designed by the local architectural firm of Frye & Chesterman. The building was a gift to the city of Lynchburg from Randolph Guggenheimer of New York City. When completed, the Aviary housed, "Seven cages containing monkeys, one with at least a half dozen healthy alligators, one with cockatoos, one with Australian doves, one with parrots and one with canaries." It later became a branch library and an office structure for the city Department of Parks and Recreation.

Ravenswood "Old Town" Historic District is a national historic district located at Ravenswood, Jackson County, West Virginia. It encompasses 313 contributing buildings and two contributing structures, the Ohio River Rail Road Steel Pratt-through truss Bridge and Concrete bridge on State Route 68 over Sandy Creek. It includes the commercial and civic core of the town, and surrounding residential buildings. It includes example of popular architectural styles of the mid- to late-19th and early-20th century, including Greek Revival, Gothic Revival, Queen Anne, Colonial Revival, Italianate, Craftsman, and Bungalow. Notable buildings include the McIntosh Building, First Baptist Church, Randolph Building/Caldwell Building (1907), the Grace Episcopal Church ; Our Savior Evangelical Lutheran Church, Ravenswood Community Center (1938), and McIntosh House.

The original district encompassed 59 contributing buildings; the boundary increase added 53 more contributing buildings. It includes the central business district of Huntington, and includes several of its municipal and governmental buildings. It contains the majority of the historic concentration of downtown commercial buildings. Notable buildings include the Huntington City Hall, Johnson Memorial Church (c.1886/1912/1935), Trinity Episcopal Church (1882), Davis Opera House, Love Hardware Building, Reuschleins Jewelry building (1923), the Newcomb Building, the Morrison Building (1919), Keith-Albee Theater (1928), West Virginia Building, and Gideon Building. Cass Historic District is a national historic district located at Cass, Pocahontas County, West Virginia. The district encompasses 79 contributing buildings and 1 contributing structure. Cass was founded in 1902 as a company town for lumbering by the West Virginia Pulp and Paper Company. The district features three classes of housing: class three houses for day laborers, class two houses for section foreman and office personnel, and class one houses for persons in management positions. The class three houses measure 30 feet by 20 feet, and are very stout, rectangular two-story frame structures, with front and rear porches. Non-residential buildings include the former hospital, clubhouse, town building, lodge hall, former Methodist and Presbyterian churches, old school building, and the company store.
Elkins Milling Company, also known as Darden's Mill, is a historic grist mill located at Elkins, Randolph County, West Virginia. It is a three-story timber frame structure, eight bays long and three bays deep. It was built in 1902, and expanded and at various points in the 20th century. The building served Elkins and the surrounding area as a merchant grain mill and feed store.
Randolph County Courthouse and Jail is a historic courthouse and jail located at Elkins, Randolph County, West Virginia. The two buildings were built between 1902 and 1904. They are constructed of brick and faced with stone with contrasting smooth and textured stone trim. The courthouse measures 103 feet by 76 feet, with a tower flanking the entrance pavilion at 150 feet tall. It features a rounded arch entrance in the Richardsonian Romanesque style. The jail features a massive conical-roofed corner tower.

It encompasses 51 contributing buildings that reflect the history of Beverly from its founding to the end of the 19th century. Notable buildings include the Randolph County Courthouse, old Randolph County Jail (1813–1841), Randolph County Jail (1841), Beverly Public Square (1787), Beverly Cemetery (1768), Beverly Presbyterian Church (1869), Beverly United Methodist Church (1890), Home of "The Enterprise", and the Peter Buckey House and Hotel (1790–1865). Also located in the district is the separately listed Blackman-Bosworth Store.
Tygart Valley Homesteads Historic District is a national historic district located near Dailey, Randolph County, West Virginia. It encompasses 337 contributing buildings, three contributing sites, and three contributing structures, associated with a resettlement community established during the Great Depression by the Roosevelt administration. It was the largest of the three resettlement communities in West Virginia, the others being Arthurdale and Eleanor. The first dwellings were constructed in 1934, and the Civilian Conservation Corps built the public water system, draining systems, and culverts. The houses have modest Colonial Revival architecture details and have either a side gable or gambrel roof, referred to as either an "A-Frame" or "Barn House." Other notable buildings include the Dailey Community Center (1937), gas station (1940), The Homestead School (1939), The East Dailey Bridge (1938), Community Farm, The Warehouse, The Woodworking Shop, and The Weaving Shop.
Helvetia Village Historic District is a national historic district located at Helvetia, Randolph County, West Virginia. It encompasses 26 contributing buildings in the village center. Some of the buildings date to the original settlement period in 1869–1870, when they were built of log construction. Later 19th-century and early-20th century buildings are of frame construction, with a number in the Carpenter Gothic style. Notable buildings include The Church (1882), Huber Inn, Post Office and Store / house (1920s), the log Swiss Museum, Star Band Hall, Cheese Haus, an original cabin (1870), Helvetia Community Hall (1939), and Rudolph's Carpenter Shop.
Riverside School is a historic school building located at Elkins, Randolph County, West Virginia. It was built between 1902 and 1905, as a one-story, rectangular red brick structure, measuring 56 feet, 6 inches, by 34 feet. A second story was added in 1928, when it became a four-year high school. It has a hipped roof and a sandstone foundation. It was originally built as a school for African American students, and remained so until the 1954 desegregation order and the school was closed.

It encompasses 59 contributing buildings in the southwestern part of the City of Roanoke. The district includes a variety of buildings having automotive, warehouse, light industrial and residential uses. Most of the buildings are small-scale, one or two-story brick or concrete block buildings, with the majority built between about 1920 and 1954. Notable buildings include the former Enfield Buick Dealership, Lindsay-Robinson & Co. Building (1918), Fulton Motor Company Auto Sales & Service (1928), Lacy Edgerton Motor Company, Roanoke Motor Car Company, and Fire Department No. 3 (1909).
