The River Yar on the Isle of Wight, England, rises in a chalk coomb in St. Catherine's Down near Niton, close to the southern tip of the island. It flows across the Lower Cretaceous rocks of the eastern side of the island, through the gap in the central Upper Cretaceous chalk ridge of the Island at Yarbridge, then across the now drained Brading Haven to Bembridge Harbour in the northeast.

Pinaymootang First Nation is a First Nations people whose home location is on Fairford 50 Reserve at Fairford, Manitoba, Canada. They are situated on Hwy #6 in the Interlake Region of Manitoba about 220 kilometres from Winnipeg. The Rural Municipality of Grahamdale forms most of the reserve's land boundary, although it also has a short border with the Little Saskatchewan First Nation as well as significant lakeshore on Lake St. Martin, which is considered as being outside the reserve. The main settlement on the reserve is located at 51°35′55″N98°41′32″W.
Ash is an unincorporated community in Houston County, Texas. Ash is located 16 miles (26 km) southwest of Crockett at the western terminus of FM 1280. The community was established in 1870 and named for community leader James B. Ash. Ash had a post office from 1890 to 1909. By 2000, its population was 19.

Laguna Lake a lake and seasonal reservoir in the upper Los Osos Valley, in San Luis Obispo, California. It lies at an elevation 121 feet (37 m). It is supplied with water from various small watercourses from the surrounding valley but especially by Prefumo Creek a tributary of San Luis Obispo Creek that enters the lake at 35°15′51″N120°41′32″W. The Lake is also drained by Prefumo Creek at from its eastern end at 35°15′35″N120°41′01″W that drains to San Luis Obispo Creek.
Prefumo Creek is a tributary stream of San Luis Obispo Creek. Its mouth is at its confluence with San Luis Obispo Creek at an elevation of 102 feet / 31 meters. Its source is found at 35°15′41″N120°45′28″W in the Irish Hills. From its source it flows down into Laguna Lake at 35°15′51″N120°41′32″W, and provides the overflow channel from the lake at 35°15′35″N120°41′01″W that drains to the San Luis Obispo Creek.
Little Hastings Tract is a mostly submerged island in the Sacramento–San Joaquin River Delta. It is in Solano County, California. Its coordinates are 38°15′02″N121°41′32″W, and the United States Geological Survey gave its elevation as 0 ft (0 m) in 1981. It appears, above water, on a 1978 USGS map.
