"Strangers" is a song by British-South African musician Kenya Grace. It was officially released as her major-label debut single on 1 September 2023 through Major Recordings, a dance label owned by Warner Records. [3] It is the follow-up release to her prior viral single, "Meteor" (also in 2023). [3] "Strangers" was Grace's breakthrough single, peaking at #1 in Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Latvia, Lithuania, the United Kingdom and Ukraine, as well as topping both the Australian and American dance music charts. [4] The track peaked at #2 in Luxembourg, New Zealand, Russia, Slovakia and Switzerland, and was a top-five or top-ten hit in the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, India, Ireland, Japan, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Singapore, Sweden and the United Arab Emirates. The work was nominated for the PRS for Music Most Performed Work Ivor Novello Award on Thursday 23rd May 2024. [7]
Grace initially shared a snippet of the song on her Instagram Reels on 14 July 2023. Social media agency 10x Content ochestrated a viral marketing campaign to propel the song. [8] After she teased the song again on 27 July 2023, this time via TikTok, the song would go viral. The TikTok video has accumulated over 35 million views. [5]
A press release described the song as containing "vibey synths" and a "drum 'n' bass core", as well as a "propulsive backdrop", on top of which Grace "layers evocative vocals" with a "gentle delivery". [3]

"Belly Dancer (Bananza)" is the fourth single from R&B singer Akon's debut studio album, Trouble. "Belly Dancer (Bananza)" peaked at number 30 on the Billboard Hot 100. Outside of the United States, "Belly Dancer (Bananza)" peaked within the top ten of the charts in the United Kingdom. The song samples "The Lunatics (Have Taken Over the Asylum)" by Fun Boy Three and "Body Rock" by Treacherous Three, and borrows from the chorus of "For What It's Worth" by Buffalo Springfield. It was used in the 2009 teen comedy film Fired Up!. A remix of the track, featuring Kardinal Offishall, was later included as a B-side to "Pot of Gold".
"A Holly Jolly Christmas", also known as "Have a Holly Jolly Christmas", is a Christmas song written by Johnny Marks and most famously performed by Burl Ives. The song has since become one of the top 25 most-performed "holiday" songs written by ASCAP members, for the first five years of the 21st century. Successful covers have notably been recorded by Alan Jackson, Jerrod Niemann, Lady Antebellum and Michael Bublé.
"Sure Thing" is a song by American singer-songwriter Miguel. Produced by Happy Perez, the song is included on his debut album, All I Want Is You (2010). It was first posted onto YouTube in 2007, via Myspace. It was sent to radio as the album's second single in January 2011. The R&B song features neo soul influences, and had been noted for its similarities to the work of singer Jon B.
"Sweater Weather" is a song by American alternative band the Neighbourhood. The song was written by group members Jesse Rutherford, Zach Abels and Jeremy Freedman, and was produced by Justyn Pilbrow. It serves as the lead single from their debut studio album, I Love You (2013). "Sweater Weather" reached number one on the Billboard Alternative Airplay chart in June 2013, logging eleven non-consecutive weeks at the summit of the chart. Pentatonix covered the song for their 2018 album Christmas Is Here! with an accompanying music video. The song was also covered by Kurt Hugo Schneider, Alyson Stoner, and Max S in 2014. In mid-to-late 2020, the song experienced a resurgence in popularity due to it being used on the social media platform TikTok. The song gained over 5 million on-demand streams on Spotify within the month of November 2020. As of January 5, 2022, the song is ranked in the top 100 of the most streamed songs on Spotify. In late 2023, for the 35th anniversary of Alternative Airplay, Billboard ranked the song as the 15th-most successful in the chart's history.
"Where Did You Go?" is a song by English DJ Jax Jones featuring British singer MNEK. It was released on 5 February 2022, via Polydor Records. The song peaked at number 7 on the UK Singles Chart. When he performed it at the Queen's Platinum Party at the Palace in London, John Newman joined him on stage for the vocals. The cover art features smile-shaped potato bites, similar to McCain Smiles.
"Die for You" is a song by the Canadian singer-songwriter the Weeknd, from his third studio album, Starboy (2016). The song was sent to US rhythmic contemporary radio on September 19, 2017 as the seventh single from the album. It was written by the Weeknd, Doc McKinney, Cirkut, Prince 85, Cashmere Cat, Dylan Wiggins, and Billy Walsh, and produced by the former five.
"Makeba" is a song by French singer-songwriter Jain, released on 6 November 2015, from her debut studio album, Zanaka. It was written by Jain and produced by her longtime collaborator Maxim Nucci. The refrain of the song used a sample from the 1978 song "Me and the Gang" by the American percussionist, songwriter, arranger, and record producer Hamilton Bohannon. "Makeba" peaked at number seven on the French Singles Chart. It references Miriam Makeba, also known as "Mama Africa", a South African singer and anti-Apartheid civil rights activist.
"Ferrari" is a song by English DJ and record producer James Hype and British singer Miggy Dela Rosa, released as a single through Island Records and the Cross on 15 March 2022. It samples "I Need a Girl " by P. Diddy and Ginuwine featuring Loon, Mario Winans, and Tammy Ruggieri (2002). The song charted across Europe and the UK, reaching number one on the Belgian Ultratop 50 and Dutch Single Top 100.
"Bones" is a song by American pop rock band Imagine Dragons. The song was released through Interscope and Kidinakorner on March 11, 2022, as the lead single from the band's fifth studio album, Mercury – Acts 1 & 2. It was written by Dan Reynolds, Wayne Sermon, Ben McKee, Daniel Platzman, and its producers Mattman & Robin.

"Bad Memories" is a song by Italian production trio Meduza and British record producer James Carter, featuring American singer Elley Duhé and German duo Fast Boy. It was made available for digital download and streaming by Island Records and Universal Music Group on 22 July 2022; on the same date, the latter label also sent the song to Italian radio stations.
"Star Walkin' " is a song by American rapper Lil Nas X. It was released as a single through Columbia Records & Riot Games on September 22, 2022. The anthem for 2022 League of Legends World Championship was written by Lil Nas X, Atia "Ink" Boggs and the song's producers, Cirkut and Omer Fedi.
"Jerk" is a song by American singer Oliver Tree, originally released on July 17, 2020, as part of his debut studio album Ugly Is Beautiful. Upon release, the song largely stood out to music critics reviewing the album. Noted for its "groan haunts", Pitchfork writer Cat Zhang drew comparisons to Billie Joe Armstrong, while NME's Ben Jolly described the song as "an anti-bullying anthem-in-waiting". Tree sings about his experiences of being an outcast and eventually realizes that his hatred for jerks is "a double-edged sword".

"10:35" is a song by Dutch DJ Tiësto featuring Canadian singer Tate McRae. It was released on 3 November 2022 through Musical Freedom and Atlantic Records as the sixth single from Tiësto's seventh studio album Drive.
"Creepin'" is a song by American record producer Metro Boomin, Canadian singer the Weeknd, and British-American rapper 21 Savage. It was sent to Italian contemporary hit radio through Republic Records and Boominati Worldwide as the lead and only single from Metro's second studio album, Heroes & Villains, on January 27, 2023. It is a remake of "I Don't Wanna Know" (2004) by Mario Winans featuring Enya and P. Diddy, which is based on a sample of the Fugees' song "Ready or Not" (1996), and itself samples Enya's "Boadicea" (1987). Winans himself returned to contribute to the song as a backing vocalist along with Travis Scott. Diddy himself would also join the artists on a remix of the song on March 17, 2023.

"Greedy" is a song by Canadian singer and dancer Tate McRae. It was released through RCA Records on September 15, 2023, as the lead single of her second studio album Think Later (2023). The song was written by McRae, alongside Amy Allen, Jasper Harris, and OneRepublic lead singer Ryan Tedder; production was handled by the latter two along with Grant Boutin. Lyrically, McRae described the song as an ode to female empowerment. "Greedy" was commercially successful, peaking at number one on both the Billboard Global 200 and Canadian Hot 100, and number three on the Billboard Hot 100.
"Overdrive" is a song by French DJ duo Ofenbach featuring American singer Norma Jean Martine. It was released on 6 October 2023 through Elektra France and marks their second collaboration, following "Head Shoulders Knees & Toes" (2020).
