Sudhir Asnani (born 7 December 1960 in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh) is an international cricket umpire from India. [1] Making his international umpiring debut in 1998, he has officiated in ten One Day Internationals, four Twenty20 Internationals and over 100 First-class and List A matches. He has also stood in 23 Indian Premier League matches. [1] [2]

Obstructing the field is one of the nine methods of dismissing a batsman in the sport of cricket. Either batsman can be given out if he wilfully attempts to obstruct or distract the fielding side by word or action. It is Law 37 of the Laws of cricket, and is a rare way for a batsman to be dismissed; in the history of cricket, there has been only two instances in Test matches, nine in One Day International (ODI) matches, and six in Twenty20 International matches. There have also been seven instances in Test cricket, and two in ODIs, where a batsman has been dismissed handled the ball, a mode of dismissal now folded into obstructing the field.

Rudolf Eric Koertzen was a South African international cricket umpire and former cricketer. A cricket enthusiast since his youth, he played league cricket while working as a clerk for South African Railways. He began umpiring in 1981, before becoming a full-time official eleven years later. In an international career spanning 18 years, he officiated in a record 331 matches and is only behind Aleem Dar in officiating as an umpire in most international matches.

Christopher Blair Gaffaney is a former New Zealand cricketer who played for Otago. He became an umpire after retiring as a player. A right-handed batsman, he played in 83 first-class and 113 List A matches. Karumanaseri Narayanaiyer Ananthapadmanabhan is an Indian cricket umpire and former first-class cricketer from the state of Kerala. He played for the India "A" national team in international cricket and for South Zone and Kerala in Indian domestic cricket. He is a former captain of Kerala state Ranji Trophy team. He now serves as an umpire at the first-class level and officiates in all the major domestic cricket tournaments in India, including the Ranji Trophy and Indian Premier League. In August 2020, Ananthapadmanabhan was promoted to the International Panel of ICC Umpires.

David James Millns is a first class cricket umpire and English former professional cricketer who played for Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club, Leicestershire County Cricket Club, Tasmania and Boland. Millns was a fast bowler, and a lower order batsman who was part of two championship winning sides with Leicestershire, in 1996 and 1998.

Sameer Bandekar is an Indian cricket umpire who currently represents the United States. The first international match that Bandekar officiated in was a women's One Day International (ODI) in 1997. Akbar Ali is an Indian-born international cricket umpire based in the United Arab Emirates. He stood in his first Twenty20 International (T20I) match, between Ireland and the United Arab Emirates, on 16 February 2016. He officiated in his first One Day International (ODI) match, between Scotland and Hong Kong, on 22 January 2017.

Asif Yaqoob is a Pakistani cricket umpire. He stood in his first Twenty20 International (T20I) match, between Pakistan and Australia, on 26 October 2018. He stood in his first One Day International (ODI) match, also between Pakistan and Australia, on 27 March 2019. He was one of the sixteen umpires for the 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup tournament in South Africa. In December 2020, he was shortlisted as one of the Umpire of the Year for the 2020 PCB Awards. on January 6, 2022 Asif Yaqoob was awarded Umpire of the year 2021 by the PCB.
