Suzie Plakson is an American actress.
Born Susan Plaksin in Buffalo, New York, she was raised in Kingston, Pennsylvania, and attended Northwestern University.[ citation needed ]
Plakson began her career on the stage, and played four characters opposite Anthony Newley in the national revival tour of Stop the World, I Want to Get Off . She also played Marquise Theresa Du Parc in the Broadway production of La Bête .
Plakson was a regular in the sitcom Love & War , as sportswriter Mary Margaret "Meg" Tynan. [1] She played four characters on various Star Trek series: a Vulcan, Doctor Selar, in "The Schizoid Man" ( Star Trek: The Next Generation ); half-Klingon, half-human Ambassador K'Ehleyr in "The Emissary" (Star Trek: The Next Generation) and "Reunion" (Star Trek: The Next Generation); the Lady Q in "The Q and the Grey" ( Star Trek: Voyager ); and an Andorian, Tarah, in "Cease Fire" ( Star Trek: Enterprise ). Plakson played the blue brontosaurus real estate agent Monica de Vertebrae on Dinosaurs , as well as many other guest voices. She has had recurring roles in various sitcoms such as Mad About You , Everybody Loves Raymond and How I Met Your Mother . She has appeared in movies such as Disclosure , Red Eye and Wag the Dog . Plakson wrote and performed an allegorical solo show, An Evening with Eve. Plakson penned and performed the alternative country rock album DidnWannaDoIt! produced by Jay Ferguson, [5] and released the video of the title song on YouTube. She wrote and recorded the audiobook/e-book, The Return of King Lillian, a mythic allegory. [4]

Star Trek: The Next Generation (TNG) is an American science fiction television series created by Gene Roddenberry. It originally aired from September 28, 1987, to May 23, 1994, in syndication, spanning 178 episodes over seven seasons. The third series in the Star Trek franchise, it was inspired by Star Trek: The Original Series. Set in the latter third of the 24th century, when Earth is part of the United Federation of Planets, it follows the adventures of a Starfleet starship, the USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-D), in its exploration of the Alpha quadrant in the Milky Way galaxy.
Q is a fictional character, as well as the name of a race, in Star Trek, appearing in the Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Voyager, Lower Decks, and Picard series and in related media. The most familiar Q is portrayed by John de Lancie. He is an extra-dimensional being of unknown origin who possesses immeasurable power over time, space, the laws of physics, and reality itself, being capable of altering it to his whim. Despite his vast knowledge and experience spanning untold eons, he is not above practical jokes for his own personal amusement, for a Machiavellian or manipulative purpose, or to prove a point. He is said to be almost completely omnipotent and he is continually evasive regarding his true motivations.

It originally aired from January 16, 1995, to May 23, 2001, on UPN, with 172 episodes over seven seasons. It is the fifth series in the Star Trek franchise. Deanna Troi is a main character in the science-fiction television series Star Trek: The Next Generation and related TV series and films, portrayed by actress Marina Sirtis. Troi is half-human, half-Betazoid, and has the psionic ability to sense emotions. She serves as the ship's counsellor on USS Enterprise-D. Throughout most of the series, she holds the rank of lieutenant commander. In the seventh season, Troi takes the bridge officer's examination and is promoted to the rank of commander, but continues as counsellor.
Guinan is a recurring character in the Star Trek media franchise who has appeared in the television series Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Picard and the films Star Trek Generations and Star Trek: Nemesis. Portrayed by Whoopi Goldberg, Guinan is a bartender in the Ten-Forward lounge aboard the starship USS Enterprise-D. She was also played as a child by Isis Carmen Jones in the episode "Rascals". Cheryl Gates McFadden is an American actress and choreographer. She is usually credited as Cheryl McFadden when working as a choreographer and Gates McFadden when working as an actress. Dr. Katherine Pulaski is a fictional medical doctor in the American science fiction television series Star Trek: The Next Generation. She served a rotation as the chief medical officer aboard the Federation starship USS Enterprise-D. During her time on the ship, her medical skills saved the lives of both Captain Jean-Luc Picard and Commander William Riker. She inadvertently caused Geordi LaForge to create a hologram of Professor Moriarty that became self-aware, after a bet involving the abilities of Lt. Commander Data. Pulaski seemed averse to most new technology and preferred to avoid the transporter, but was forced to rely on it to save her own life from a genetically-modified infection. Before arriving on the Enterprise-D, she previously served on the USS Repulse. For a time in her past, she was romantically involved with William Riker's father, Kyle Riker, with whom she has maintained a friendship.
