Percy Robert Miller, also known by his stage name Master P, is an American rapper, record executive, actor, entrepreneur, and former professional basketball player. He is the founder of the record label No Limit Records, which was relaunched as New No Limit Records through Universal Records and Koch Records, and again as Guttar Music Entertainment, and currently, No Limit Forever Records. He is also the founder and CEO of P. Miller Enterprises and Better Black Television, which was a short-lived online television network. Lloyd Polite Jr., better known by his mononym Lloyd, is an American singer, songwriter, and dancer. Lloyd began his career in music as a member of the preteen-boy band N-Toon. The group disbanded in 2001 and Lloyd embarked on a solo career in 2003. He subsequently signed a recording contract with Murder Inc. Records and Def Jam Recordings. In 2004, Lloyd released his solo debut single "Southside", the title track of his debut album, Southside. The single features Ashanti, and it quickly charted on the US Billboard Hot 100, and became a Top 40 hit. His second album Street Love, was released on March 13, 2007. Tru 2 da Game is the fourth studio album released by New Orleans hip-hop group, TRU. It was released February 18, 1997 on No Limit Records and was produced by Beats By the Pound. The album found a large amount of success, peaking at #8 on the Billboard 200 and #2 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums selling 200,000 copies in its first week. A single from the album entitled "I Always Feel Like..." also found some success, peaking at #71 on the Billboard Hot 100, #11 on the Hot Rap Singles and #42 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks. The same year the album was re-released with the song "Smoking Green" removed. The re-released version included three new songs, a club mix version of "No Limit Soldiers", a C-Murder solo song "Eyes Of A Killa" and a Silkk The Shocker solo song "Pimp Shit." "FEDz" samples Aaliyah's hit single "If Your Girl Only Knew". The album was certified 2× Platinum by the RIAA, on October 2, 1997, and remains the group's most successful album.

Da Crime Family is the fifth studio album by New Orleans hip-hop group, TRU, released June 1, 1999, on No Limit Records and Priority Records. It was produced by Beats By the Pound, Ke'Noe, Meech Wells and Battlecat. Da Crime Family debuted at #5 on the Billboard 200 and #2 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, selling 142,000 copies in its first week. Da Crime Family contains the lead single "Hoody Hooo" which made it to #11 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks. The other single "Tru Homies" peaked at #6 on the Hot Rap Singles and #61 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks. "Hoody Hooo" samples the theme song of the 1978 film Halloween. "Tru Homies" samples "I'll Be Around" by The Spinners. The album was certified gold by RIAA.

<i>The Truth</i> (TRU album) 2005 studio album by TRU

The Truth is the sixth and final studio album released by New Orleans rap group, TRU. It was released on February 22, 2005 on The New No Limit and was produced by Master P, Drumma Boy, Kaos, Myke Diesel and Bass Heavy. Compared to the previous two TRU albums, The Truth only found minor success selling 44,000 copies, peaking at No. 54 on the Billboard 200, No. 15 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and No. 2 on the Independent Albums. A Chopped and screwed version of the album mixed by Michael 5000 Watts was released on April 26, 2005. By December 2005 the album sold about 198,000 copies.

A New Breed of Female is the only studio album by American hip hop group II Tru. It was released on September 9, 1997 via Mo Thugs/Relativity Records. Recording sessions took place at Private Island Trax in Los Angeles. Production was primarily handled by Archie Blaine, as well as Krayzie Bone, who served as executive producer together with Layzie Bone. It features guest appearances from fellow Mo Thugs members Ken Dawg, Tombstone and Sin of the Graveyard Shift, Flesh-n-Bone, Layzie Bone and Krayzie Bone.

"Tru Love" is a song by American recording artist Faith Evans. It was written by Johnta Austin, Evans, Bryan Michael Cox, and Jermaine Dupri for her fourth studio album The First Lady (2005), while its production was handled by the latter two. The contemporary R&B ballad was released as the album's third and final single in October 2005 and reached number 27 on the US Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.

No Limit Records was an American record label founded by Master P. The label's albums were distributed by Priority, Universal and Koch Records. The label included artists such as Snoop Dogg, Mercedes, Silkk the Shocker, Mystikal, Mia X, Mac, C-Murder, Magic, Romeo Miller, Fiend, Kane & Abel, and Soulja Slim.

Vyshonn King Miller, better known by his stage name Silkk the Shocker, is an American rapper and actor. He was born in New Orleans on June 18, 1975. He originally went under the stage name Silkk, but later adopted Silkk the Shocker after the release of his first album. He has now signed partnership with his brother Master P and his nephew Romeo label No Limit Forever.

"Tru" is a song by American singer-songwriter Lloyd, released on May 6, 2016, from his extended play Tru (2016). Lloyd explains his hiatus through the lyrics of the song, expressing how he lost an unborn child to an abortion and that it "left a big hole", while also detailing other family issues. The song was also included on Lloyd's fifth studio album Tru (2018).

Tru is the second studio album by American band Ovlov, released on 20 July 2018 via Exploding in Sound Records. After releasing their first studio album, Am (2013), the band had temporary break-ups, but eventually re-emerged. Tru was recorded around late 2016 and early 2017, and two singles were premiered before its official release. The album received "universal acclaim" according to review aggregator Metacritic.
