The Fulton County Public Schools Foundation, Inc. established two teaching museums in the spring of 1991. Teaching Museum North is located in the former Roswell Elementary site on Mimosa Boulevard. Teaching Museum South, located at North Avenue Elementary in Hapeville, is the South Fulton County site.

Roswell High School (RHS) is a public high school in Roswell, Georgia, United States which opened in 1949. It serves the entire city of Roswell west of Georgia State Route 400 and the city of Mountain Park, as well as small portions of Alpharetta and Milton. With a population of over of 2,221 students in the 2018–19 school year, RHS is one of the largest schools in the Fulton County School System. Roswell High School neighbors both Fellowship Christian School and Blessed Trinity Catholic High School. It is also the second oldest of Fulton County's schools in the northern portion of the county, opening between Milton High School (1921), and Chattahoochee High School (1991). Roswell is currently on its third campus, which opened in 1990. The current building is the oldest in-use high school building in north Fulton.

Chattahoochee Technical College is a public technical college in the U.S. state of Georgia. It is governed by the Technical College System of Georgia and has eight campuses in the north-northwest metro-Atlanta area, and another just outside the region. Centered today at the crossroads of Georgia Highways 140 and 372, Crabapple, Georgia, is one of the oldest parts of Fulton County, Georgia. Originally part of Cherokee County, Georgia,, Crabapple was part of the land contributed in 1857 to form Milton County, Georgia. The first permanent settlement at Crabapple was made in 1874, with the community taking its name from a crabapple tree near the original town site. As a result of the Great Depression, Milton County was later absorbed into Fulton County in 1932. The historic heart of Crabapple is anchored by an historic brick building at the crossroads of Crabapple Road-Mayfield Road, Birmingham Road-Broadwell Road, and Mid-Broadwell Road. In 2006, a portion of Crabapple was one of several communities incorporated into the new city of Milton. Crabapple is now split between the cities of Milton, Roswell, and Alpharetta.

Willeo Creek is a 6.7-mile-long (10.8 km) stream in the U.S. state of Georgia, and is located in the north-northwestern part of metro Atlanta. It is a significant tributary of the Chattahoochee River, into which it flows at Bull Sluice Lake, just upstream from Morgan Falls Dam and downstream from the Chattahoochee Nature Center. Together, the two streams form nearly all of the county line between Fulton to the east and Cobb to the west.

Spalding Drive is an approximately 12-mile east–west road connecting four suburban cities in north Atlanta: Sandy Springs, Dunwoody, Peachtree Corners, and Norcross. For most of its length, which roughly parallels the Chattahoochee River, it is lined on both sides with residential neighborhoods and private homes. Spalding Drive traverses a hilly topography and is subject to dangerous curves at many points. However, after crossing Peachtree Corners Circle, the road becomes flatter and more commercialized, passing by many office parks, and the Peachtree Corners post office and library. Norcross High School is located just before the road's eastern terminus within the Norcross city limits.
