Tidewater, Inc. is a publicly traded international petroleum service company headquartered in Houston,Texas, U.S. It operates a fleet of ships, primarily providing vessels and marine services to the offshore petroleum and offshore wind industries.

Tidewater created the "work boat" industry with its 1956 launch of the Ebb Tide, the world's first vessel tailor-made to support the offshore oil and gas industry. Today, Tidewater is the leading and most experienced provider of OSVs in the global energy industry.

Tidewater has a global footprint, with over 90% of its fleet working internationally in more than 60 countries. Around the world, Tidewater transports crews and supplies, tow and anchor mobile rigs, assists in offshore construction projects and performs a variety of specialized marine support services. [1]

The Holiday class was the first class of newbuilds for Carnival Cruise Line after their first newbuild, Tropicale, which was completed in 1982. The first ship in the class, the 46,052 gross-ton vessel Holiday, was completed in 1985. A second and slightly larger sister ship, Jubilee, was built in 1986 at 47,262 gross tons. The third and final ship, Celebration, was identical to Jubilee and completed in 1987. All were the biggest ships for Carnival until the Fantasy class was built.

Ramform Titan is a marine seismic acquisition vessel built in 2013 by the MHI shipyard in Nagasaki, Japan. Its width at the stern is 70 m (230 ft), "the widest ship in the world at the waterline". It is operated by Norwegian company Petroleum Geo-Services (PGS) and is used for 3D seismic data acquisition. The ship is equipped with 24 hydrophone streamer reels in two rows, with 16 reels astern, and eight further forward. It is able to tow a network of sensors over an area greater than 12 square kilometres (4.6 sq mi). The vessel can accommodate up to 80 crew plus visitors.
