Trecia-Kaye Smith (born 5 November 1975 in Westmoreland, Jamaica) is a retired Jamaican athlete who competed mainly in the triple jump.
In college, she competed for the University of Pittsburgh from 1996–1999 and was a seven-time NCAA national champion (two outdoor and three indoor long jump titles and one outdoor and one indoor triple jump title), 15-time All-American, a 14-time Big East Conference champion, and a 15-time Eastern College Athletic Conference champion. Trecia was named to the NCAA Division 1 Silver Anniversary Indoor Team and a "NCAA Division 1 Most Outstanding Student-Athlete". [1] [2]
Her personal best is 15.16 metres, and she almost equaled that result at the 2005 World Championships where she won the gold medal with 15.11 metres.
Smith won triple jump at the 2009 Jamaican Championship with 14.43 m, qualifying for her fifth World Championships in Athletics. [3] She retained her Commonwealth triple jump title at the 2010 Commonwealth Games, and she was given the David Dixon Award for her performance. The decision was a surprise in many quarters as she had only one legal jump at the competition, a modest mark of 14.19 m which she herself acknowledged was "a terrible jump".
Smith was inducted into the USTFCCCA Collegiate Athlete Hall of Fame in 2024. [4]
Carlette Denise Guidry-Falkquay is an American former sprinter who won gold medals in the 4 x 100 metres relay at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, the 1996 Atlanta Olympics and the 1995 World Championships in Gothenburg. Her individual results include winning the 100 metres title at the 1990 Goodwill Games and a bronze medal in the 60 metres at the 1995 World Indoor Championships.

Dr. Sheila Ann Hudson is an American former track and field athlete and Olympian, ranked among the all-time greatest U.S. competitors in the women's triple jump. Throughout her career, she won nine U.S. triple jump titles, and set two world bests and nine American records. She previously held the indoor American record in the women's triple jump (46-8.25) as well as the outdoor American record in women's triple jump (47-3.5) with a wind aided all-time best jump of 48-1.25. Hudson won the silver medal at the 1994 IAAF World Cup, finished eighth at the 1995 World Indoor Championships, tenth at the 1996 Olympic Games and fifth at the 1998 IAAF World Cup.

Kimberly Williams is a Jamaican triple jumper. She is a multiple time Jamaican National Champion. She was successful as a youth athlete, winning the 2003 CARIFTA Games as a 14 year old. She was runner up at the 2007 Pan American Junior Athletics Championships. Later, she jumped for Florida State University and was a four time NCAA Champion. By the time she graduated in 2012, she was "the most decorated women's track and field athlete in Florida State history." Since then she is the reigning Commonwealth Games champion. She was a finalist in the 2016 Olympics, ranking as high as 4th after two rounds of jumping, ultimately finishing seventh.
Andrea Norris is an American track and field athlete who competes in the long jump and triple jump. Norris won the American title in 2013. She has personal records of 6.70 m and 14.18 m, respectively.
Frentorish "Tori" Bowie was an American track and field athlete, who primarily competed in the long jump, 100 meters, and 200 meters. She won the silver medal in the 100 m and bronze in the 200 m at the 2016 Rio Olympics, bronze and gold in the 100 m at the 2015 and 2017 World Championships, respectively, and also earned gold medals as part of U.S. women's 4 × 100 m relays at both the 2016 Olympic Games and 2017 World Championships.
