Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) is a national assessment body in Uganda, established in 1983 by an act of Parliament. [1] The UNEB Secretariat is headed by the Executive Secretary, who is the Chief Executive head and the accounting officer of the board. Under the Executive Secretary, [2] the board is a body corporate mandated to conduct and manage examinations in Uganda at the end of the educational cycle at the primary and secondary school level and to conduct examination-related research. [3]

The Mizoram Board of School Education (MBSE) is an autonomous governmental body for academic administration in Mizoram, India, having its jurisdiction from elementary to higher secondary education. It was established by the Government of Mizoram in 1975 by the Mizoram Board of School Education Act. It has the power to regulate, supervise and control school education in Mizoram. Its primary function is to prepare academic programmes and organise examinations, especially for state level High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) and Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC). Teso College Aloet (TCA) was established in 1953. Teso College is an all-male preparatory school, a boarding school, located in Aloet, Soroti, in Uganda. As of 2014, Teso College has 1,574 students. Over 30,000 students have graduated from TCA since its establishment. Teso College ranks in the top 50 in the Ugandan national examinations performance listing.

Mary Jossy Nakhanda Okwakol is a Ugandan university professor, academic administrator, zoologist and community leader. She is the current chairperson of the Uganda National Examinations Board.

Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council (UMDPC), is a quasi-government professional organisation, established by Act of Parliament, responsible for licensing, monitoring and regulating the practice of medicine and dentistry in the country. The organization's mandate includes the regulation of both the practitioners and the practices from where they practice their professions.

National Testing Agency (NTA) is an Indian government agency that has been approved by the Union Council of Ministers and established in November 2017 to conduct entrance examinations for educational institutions. The government appointed Vineet Joshi as the first Director-General of the agency. NTA is responsible for Joint Entrance Examination – Main, National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Undergraduate, National Eligibility Test (NET), Common Management Admission Test (CMAT), Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT), Common University Entrance Test (CUET) and All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET).

Jesca Ababiku is a Ugandan educator and politician. She is currently a member of the Tenth Parliament of Uganda, representing the people of Adjumani district in one of the parliamentary seats reserved for women. She is a member of the National Resistance Movement (NRM), the ruling political party in Uganda under the chairmanship of Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Tibuhaburwa, the current president of the Republic of Uganda. In the 2021 Uganda general elections, Ababiku retained her seat as women member of parliament for Adjumani district.

The National Business and Technical Examinations Board popularly known as NABTEB, is a Nigerian examination board that is conducting examinations for technical and business innovation colleges in Nigeria. The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) was established under the Decree No. 70 of the1993 constitution. The Decree (Act) mandated NABTEB with the responsibility to conduct Technical and Business Innovation certificate examinations hitherto being conducted by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), London Royal Society of Arts, City and Guilds of London. It was established during the regime of Nigeria's former military Head of State, general Ibrahim Babangida. The NABTEB examinations are conducted biannually in May/June and November/December respectively.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Uganda Boxing Federation</span> Governing body of Boxing in Uganda

The Uganda Boxing Federation (UBF) is the body mandated to organise, promote and develop the sport of boxing in Uganda as stipulated in the sports Act of 1964 and other subsequent sports related rules and regulations in Uganda. The UBF was founded in 1950 and is affiliated to the International Boxing Association.
