Utica Community Schools (UCS) is a public school district located in Macomb County, Michigan in the Metropolitan Detroit area. UCS serves the city of Utica, the majority of Shelby Township, the northern portion of Sterling Heights, and parts of Ray, Washington, and Macomb townships in the U.S. state of Michigan. UCS is the second-largest school district in the state of Michigan. Mr. Robert Monroe is the current superintendent of Utica Community Schools. UCS provides education for 29,519 students in kindergarten through 12th grade. There are presently 15,305 elementary students, 6,578 junior high students, and 7,636 senior high students.
Utica Community Schools operates 25 elementary schools, seven junior high school and four comprehensive high schools and one alternative education high school. In addition, the Instructional Resource Center and the Training and Development Center provide additional educational opportunities to the community.

Utica Community Schools employs 250 transportation personnel, and 12 district mechanics to service the school district's fleet of 250 district-owned school buses, as well as 75 other district-owned vehicles. The UCS Transportation Department is responsible for transporting students to and from school, as well as providing transportation for over 3,000 annual off-site learning experiences. Each day throughout the school year, some 21,000 students will ride on a Utica Community School's school bus. Like many other school districts in Metro Detroit, Utica Community Schools follows a dash numbering scheme on their school buses, which declares the year that the bus manufactured in. (For example, bus 481-02 was manufactured in 2002)

L'Anse Creuse Public Schools is a collection of K-12 schools located in Macomb County, Michigan. The district occupies 37 square miles (96 km2) of the Metro Detroit region. The district is bordered by the Chippewa Valley Public School District, the Anchor Bay Public School District and the Lakeshore Public School District among other smaller districts.
Chippewa Valley Schools is a school district with its headquarters located in Clinton Township, Macomb County, Michigan. The district encompasses over 27 square miles, partially serving students of the Clinton Township and Macomb Township along with other nearby districts. It served 16,226 students during the 2016-2017 school year, making it the 6th-largest school district by enrollment in the state. The school district was formed in 1959 through the consolidation of six existing school districts.

Center Line High School is a public high school located in Center Line, Michigan. It is part of Center Line Public Schools. Center Line High School serves students living in Warren and Center Line, but is open to students living outside of the district through the Michigan School of Choice program. The school colors are orange and black and the mascot is the panther. Center Line High School employs an academy model that exposes students to a multitude of careers, industry skills, and potential employers through classroom instruction, guest speakers, site visits, job shadowing, and internships. Center Line High School offers students AP classes and dual enrollment into the Early College of Macomb program at Macomb Community College, the Macomb Mathematics, Science, and Technology Center program of Warren Consolidated Schools, or the International Academy of Macomb. Center Line High School is a member of the Southwest Macomb Technical Education Consortium (SMTEC) partnership with Fitzgerald High School, Lincoln High School, and Warren Woods Tower High School. Students may opt to take career technical education classes at the SMTEC partner schools and students from the SMTEC partner schools may take career technical education classes at Center Line High School.

The International Academy of Macomb (IAM/IA) is a public, magnet high school in Macomb County, Michigan located in the Chippewa Valley 9th Grade Center in Clinton Township. The school opened in the spring of 2008 and is an International Baccalaureate school as of early 2010. The first two years at the IAM consist of International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme courses. After these two years, students will begin the International Baccalaureate program, which lasts for two years. All IB students will have to complete 9 'CAS' experiences throughout the two IB years. After all four years are completed, students will partake in several IB exams in order to receive their IB diploma. The students at the IAM get an understanding of the world through many great books, including Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe, The Odyssey by Homer, and The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. Although it is an IB school, the IAM is still considered a public school, but it requires students to pass a test and get drawn in a lottery to become enrolled. There is no tuition required for students, but there is an initial $150 fee that will cover computer fees. Each student will receive his or her own laptop that will be used throughout the four years at the IAM, and any damage can usually be fixed with a re-imaging, including physical damage to the laptop.
Eastpointe Community Schools is a school district headquartered in Eastpointe, Michigan, United States in Metro Detroit. The district serves Eastpointe and a portion of Warren.
The UCS Alternative Learning Center, or ALC, is an alternative school located in Sterling Heights, Michigan. The school serves students in grades 9–12 who are unable to attend a traditional high school in the school district. The center also operates as the district's summer school location.
