Egyptian Community Unit School District 5, also known locally as Egyptian School District or CUSD #5, is a unified school district headquartered in unincorporated Alexander County, Illinois, with a Tamms postal address. Brad Misner is the current superintendent, while Bret Gowin is the principal for all grades serviced by the district. The school district is composed of Egyptian Elementary School, Egyptian Middle School, and Egyptian Senior High School.
Mulberry Grove Community Unit School District 1 is a unified school district located in Mulberry Grove, a small village located in the eastern reaches of Bond County, Illinois. Today, the district is composed of five schools; Greenville Elementary School, a NASA Explorer school that serves grades Pre-K through 5; Pocahontas Elementary School, which serves grades Pre-K through 8; Sorento Elementary School, which serves grades K-8; Greenville Junior High School, a school that means to bridge Greenville Elementary and Greenville High by serving grades 6-8; and lastly, Greenville High School, of which all the schools ultimately feed into, serving grades 9-12. Richland County Community Unit School District 1 is a unified K-12 public school district based in Olney, Illinois. On July 1, 2015, the district name was changed from East Richland Community Unit School District 1 after annexing the territory of West Richland Community Unit School District 2. The resulting school district includes Richland County as well as small parts of Clay, Jasper, Lawrence, and Wayne counties.
West Richland Community Unit School District 2 was a unified school district based in the southern Illinois village of Noble in the western region of Richland County. On July 1, 2015, West Richland CUSD 2 was annexed into East Richland Community Unit School District 1, which then changed its name to Richland County Community Unit School District 1 on July 1, 2015.

Bethalto Community Unit School District 8 is a unified school district based in the Madison County village of Bethalto, Illinois; the district is on the outskirts of the St. Louis Metro Area. The district is composed of five schools, of which all are located in the village of Bethalto except for one. The district is composed of two primary schools, one intermediate schools, one middle school, and one high school. Students attending the unified school district begin their educations at Bethalto East Primary School which serves grades Pre-Kindergarten through first grade. Next, students attend Parkside Primary School, which serve students in grades second and third; the principals of each school are, respectively, Rachel Leckrone and Aaron Kilpatrick. Students in grades four and five attend Meadowbrook Intermediate School, which is headed by principal Kim Wilks. Meadowbrook Intermediate School, falls outside Bethalto city limits in nearby Fort Russell Township. Graduates of the intermediate school register at Wilbur Trimpe Middle School, where under direction of Principal Adam Miller, the students progress from grade six through grade eight. The last leg of pre-collegiate education that students in Bethalto Community Unit School District 8 undertake is at Civic Memorial High School, where the school's principal is Justin Newell. The high school mascot is the Eagle, while the middle school mascot is the Royal.
Arcola Community Unit School District 306 is a unified school district based in a southern Douglas County settlement named Arcola, Illinois. The district is composed of an elementary school and a consolidated junior senior high school. The junior senior high school, although consolidated, is still regarded as two different schools. Students enter the district as prekindergarteners or kindergarteners in Arcola Elementary School, which educates the students until sixth grade under supervision of principal Angie Gentry. Graduates of the elementary school move on to Arcola Junior High School, and will remain there until seventh grade; afterwards, students complete their precollegiate education at Arcola High School. Principal Lisa Sigrist directs both schools; The mascot of both schools, is the Purple Rider. The district superintendent is Tom Mulligan; he broadcasts monthly podcasts to his district.
Wethersfield High School, is a public four-year high school located at 439 Willard St. in Kewanee, Illinois, a city in Kewanee and Wethersfield Townships of Henry County, Illinois, in the Midwestern United States. Wetherfield High School is part of Wethersfield Community Unit School District 230, which also includes Wethersfield Junior High School, and Wethersfield Elementary School. The school is combined with the Wethersfield Junior High School to form Wethersfield Junior-Senior High School. Furthermore, Wethersfield Junior-Senior High School is co-located with Wethersfield Elementary School. Because all students attend the same academic center the school prides itself in getting to know the students over their 13 years of attendance. However, academics, athletics, and activities remain mostly separate and inline with comparable elementary, middle, and high school curriculum. The campus is 40 miles (64 km) northeast of Galesburg, Illinois, 44 miles (71 km) southeast of Moline, Illinois, and serves a mixed village and rural residential community. The school is one of two high schools in the city of Kewanee, the other being Kewanee High School. The school is within the Davenport-Moline-Rock Island, IA-IL metropolitan statistical area.
Lowpoint-Washburn Junior/Senior High School is a public junior-senior high school in Washburn, Woodford County, Illinois. It handles seventh through twelfth grade and is in the same building as the Lowpoint-Washburn Community Unit School District 21 offices and Lowpoint-Washburn Middle School about 0.3 miles (0.48 km) south of the Marshall County line.
Orangeville High School, now referred to as Orangeville CUSD, is a public School four year high school that also hosts the Junior High and the elementary school level grades for the entire school district. The building is located at 201 S. Orange St in Orangeville, Illinois, a village in Stephenson County, Illinois. The school serves students residing in the communities of Orangeville, Red Oak, Oneco, Afolkey, Buena Vista, Damascus, Buckhorn Corners, and surrounding area. In 2019, the city’s elementary school was transferred to this building to include all grades within the same complex. The building itself was built to its current state in 1948 after the original building was destroyed by a fire.
Thompsonville Community Unit School District 174 is a public unit school district in southeastern Franklin County and a smaller portion of Hamilton County, Illinois. It was formed in 2007 by the consolidation of Thompsonville School District 62 and Thompsonville Community High School District 112.
Nauvoo–Colusa Community Unit School District 325 is a school district headquartered in Appanoose Township, just east of Nauvoo, Illinois. It serves northwestern Hancock County, including the city of Nauvoo and the unincorporated community of Colusa.
Indian Creek Community Unit School District 425 is a unit school district in DeKalb County, Illinois and extending into Lee County, Illinois. As of 2016, it had 723 students. It operates three public schools: Indian Creek Elementary in Shabbona for kindergarten through fourth grade; Indian Creek Middle School in Waterman for fifth through eighth grade; and Indian Creek High School in Shabbona.
