The Cyrus McCormick Farm and Workshop is on the family farm of inventor Cyrus Hall McCormick known as Walnut Grove. Cyrus Hall McCormick improved and patented the mechanical reaper, which eventually led to the creation of the combine harvester. The farm is near Steele's Tavern and Raphine, close to the northern border of Rockbridge and Augusta counties in the U.S. state of Virginia, and is currently a museum run by the Virginia Agricultural Experimental Station of Virginia Tech. The museum has free admission and covers 5 acres (2.0 ha) of the initial 532-acre (215.3 ha) farm.
Oxon Cove Park and Oxon Cove Farm is a national historic district that includes a living farm museum operated by the National Park Service, and located at Oxon Hill, Prince George's County, Maryland. It is part of National Capital Parks-East. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.
The Robert Frost House is an historic house in Cambridge, Massachusetts. It consists of four wood-frame townhouses, 2-1/2 stories in height, arranged in mirror image styling. Each pair of units has a porch providing access to those units, supported by turned posts and with a low Stick style balustrade. The Queen Anne/Stick style frame house was built in 1884, and has gables decorated with a modest amount of Gothic-style bargeboard. The house was home to poet Robert Frost for the last two decades of his life.
The William Parker House is a historic house at 55 Walnut Street in Reading, Massachusetts. The 2 1⁄2-story wood-frame house was built c. 1796, was expanded early in the 19th century into a two family residence, and converted back into a single family in the early 20th century. It is notable for its association with William Parker, a dissenter from the doctrines espoused by the local Congregational Church. In 1849 he joined with other members of his extended family in splitting the congregation.

The Jonas Salisbury House is a historic house at 62 Walnut Park in Newton, Massachusetts. The 2-1/2 story wood frame house was built about 1847, and was one of four temple-front mansions built in the Newton Corner area. Of these, it is the only one still standing. It has typical hallmarks of the Greek Revival style, with flushboarded facade, corner pilasters, and an entrance flanked by pilasters and set under a pediment. The property also includes a period carriage house. Jonas Salisbury was a significant property owner in Newton.
French Family Farm is a historic family farm located at Potsdam in St. Lawrence County, New York. The farmhouse was built in 1815 as a five bay house and extended to its present two bay, nine bay size by 1820. It is a timber framed structure with clapboard siding. Also on the property is a barn built about 1900.
Buck's Upper Mill Farm, also known as Henry Buck House, is a historic home located at Bucksville in Horry County, South Carolina. The house was built about 1838 and is a typical two-story, central hall, framed farmhouse, or "I"-House. The front façade features a full-length, one-story porch with a shed roof supported by six square posts. Also on the property are a one-story frame building constructed in the 19th century as a commissary for Buck's lumber business, and the ruins of a sawmill.
Peterson and Mustard's Hermitage Farm is a historic home located near Smyrna, Kent County, Delaware. It built about 1863, and is a two-story, "L"-shaped frame dwelling in the Italianate "peach house" style. It consists of a three bay, flat roofed main block with a rear service wing. The front facade features a Greek Revival-style entryway. Also on the property are a contributing granary-loading shed group and stable; both of pegged braced-frame construction, and probably dating from the 19th century.

It was built about 1815, and is a two-story, Georgian style timber-frame dwelling covered with wood weatherboard. The house has a gable roof and has a one-story full-width porch. The Grove was built on the Walnut Grove property in 1857.
Walnut Valley is a historic plantation house and archaeological site located near Highgate, Surry County, Virginia. The property includes a plantation house, a frame slave quarter (1816), a frame kitchen (1816), seven contributing 19th- and 20th-century agricultural and domestic outbuildings and structures, and an archaeological site. The house is a 1 1/2-story, four-bay, double-pile, side-gabled frame house on a brick foundation. It measures 40 feet, 4 inches, by 30 feet, 5 inches and features Federal style decorative elements. The one-story, two-bay frame slave quarter measures 14 feet by 16 feet, and is clad in weatherboard. The contributing outbuildings include a late-19th century storehouse and a granary, well house, silo, and three chicken houses. The property was conveyed to the Commonwealth of Virginia for the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation on January 14, 2004. It is now contained within Chippokes Plantation State Park.
The Spencer–Shippee–Lillbridge House, also known as the Crossways Farm and Walnut Brook Farm, is a historic farmstead at 12 Middle Road in East Greenwich, Rhode Island. The main house is a 2 1/2 story timber frame structure, five bays wide and three bays deep, whose construction date is traditionally given as 1772. There is, however, architectural evidence that it may be older. The building has a small 19th century addition, whose purpose was to provide a staircase for hired farmhands to reach the attic, where their living space was. The downstairs spaces have retained much of their original Georgian fabric, although a pantry space has been converted into a modern kitchen. There are five outbuildings on the 1.3-acre (0.53 ha) property, including a 19th-century wagon shed and horse barn. The house, once the centerpiece of a 225-acre (91 ha) farm, was held by members of the interrelated Spencer, Shippee, and Lillbridge families from its inception until 2001.

Also on the property are the contributing dining dependency, kitchen, dairy, smokehouse, barn, well, cold frame, and scalding vat.
Baker Farm, also known as Perdue Farm, is a historic home and farm complex located near Bunn, Franklin County, North Carolina. The house was built in the first quarter of the 19th century and renovated in 1856 in the Greek Revival style. It is a two-story, three bay frame dwelling with a late-19th century two-story rear wing. Also on the property are 10 contributing outbuildings including a smokehouse, wash house, two barns, a storage shed, and three tobacco barns.
The Moore–Youse–Maxon House, also known as the Moore–Youse Home Museum, is a historic home located at Muncie, Delaware County, Indiana. It was built about 1860, and is a two-story, three bay, vernacular Greek Revival style frame dwelling. It features a rebuilt front porch with sawnwork and brackets. It has a two-story rear addition. The house remained in the same family from 1864 to 1982. The building is operated by the Delaware County Historical Society as a historic house museum.

The district contains two contributing buildings: a dairy barn with two attached silos and horse barn. The dairy barn is a frame bank barn on a limestone block foundation.
The Larnerd Case House, also known as Rose Hill, is a historic building located in Des Moines, Iowa, United States. This two-story, frame, Greek Revival structure is the oldest dwelling that is still standing in the city. The second floor dormer and the front porch are not original to the house. This section of Iowa was opened for settlement in 1845 after a treaty with the Sauk and Meskwaki (Fox) tribes. Larnerd Case, an Ohio native, built this house using black walnut cut from the property in 1846. He lived on what was then a 160-acre (65 ha) farm until his death in 1857. The residential area that surrounds the house and the park across the street were once part of the farm. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
