Wayman P. Britt (born August 31, 1954) is a retired American basketball player.

Born in Wilson's Mills, North Carolina, he played collegiately for the University of Michigan, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in communication. [1] The university's annual award for the "Outstanding Defensive Player" is named for Britt.

Britt was selected by the Los Angeles Lakers in the fourth round (60th pick overall) of the 1976 NBA draft.

He played for the Detroit Pistons (1977–78) in the NBA for 7 games.

Britt also was drafted in the 13th round (364th overall) of the 1976 NFL Draft by the Washington Redskins.

Following his NBA career, Britt held various management positions at Steelcase and Michigan National Bank – Central, before joining the government of Kent County, Michigan, Michigan's 4th largest county, as Deputy County Administrator.

In 2018, Britt was named Kent County Administrator, overseeing the daily activities of the county and serving as the county's Chief Administrative and Financial Officer. [1] [2]

He played college basketball for the University of Oregon, and epitomized the "Kamikaze Kids" under coach Dick Harter with his all-out, fearless hustle and relentless desire to win. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Lee played four seasons for the Ducks between 1972 and 1976. The Phoenix Suns made him the tenth selection in the NBA draft in 1976. Despite not playing football in high school and college, the NFL's San Diego Chargers also made him a 12th round selection in the 1976 NFL draft. In the NBA, Lee was named to the 1977 NBA All-Rookie Team and led the NBA in steals the following season. Overall, Lee had a solid, but not spectacular career as a reserve, and became a fan favorite because of his effort on the court.

Darryl Damone Johnson is an American former professional basketball player. Born in Flint, Michigan, Johnson attended Michigan State University. He was selected with the 12th overall pick in the third round of the 1987 NBA draft by the Golden State Warriors, but never played for them. He spent most of the early part of his career playing in the Continental Basketball Association and the World Basketball League before ending his career playing in South America. Johnson also played 11 games for the Cleveland Cavaliers during the 1995–96 NBA season, averaging 1.1 points per game.
