Winter X Games XXIII (re-titled Winter X Games Aspen '19; styled as Winter X Games Twenty-Three in the official logo) were held from January 24 to January 27, 2019, in Aspen, Colorado. They are the 18th consecutive Winter X Games held in Aspen. The events were broadcast on ESPN.

Contents

Participating athletes compete in six skiing events, eight snowboarding events, one snowmobiling event and five snow bike events. [1]

Aspen Kohl Ladd is an American professional mixed martial artist who is competing in the Featherweight division of Professional Fighters League (PFL). A professional since 2015, Ladd started her professional mixed martial arts career in Invicta FC before competing in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) in the Bantamweight division.

Marcus Kleveland is a Norwegian professional snowboarder who specializes in the slopestyle and big air events. He was the first ever to complete a quad cork 1800 in competition and won gold in Slopestyle and silver in Big Air at his Winter X Games debut in 2017. He also won the world cup of Milan in November 2016. In 2018, he won 2 medals at Winter X Games : Gold at Slopestyle and a 2nd place at Big Air. Following the X Games, Kleveland attended his first Olympics at only 18, placing 6th in the Men's Slopestyle and 18th in Big Air. After the Winter Olympics, he won 3rd place at the 2018 Burton U-S Open Slopestyle. In the Big Air event at X Games 2021 he took home gold. Marcus achieved his best feat in competition obtaining three medals at the Winter X Games 2022. He took home gold in the Men's Snowboard Big Air and Men's Snowboard Knuckle Huck, as well as a silver in Men's Snowboard Slopestyle. Zoi Katherine Sadowski-Synnott is a New Zealand snowboarder, specialising in slopestyle and big air competitions. She won the gold medal in the women's slopestyle and silver in the big air at the 2022 Winter Olympics, becoming New Zealand's first gold medallist and first to win multiple medals at the Winter Olympics. She also won the bronze medal in the women's big air at the 2018 Winter Olympics, and won the women's slopestyle title at the 2019 World Championships.
