Jerold Dwight Ellis III (born October 18, 1974), [1] better known by his stage name Yukmouth, is an American rapper. He is the founder of The Regime, Smoke-A-Lot Records and Godzilla Entertainment.
Yukmouth is a member of the rap duo Luniz, along with Numskull. Luniz recorded the weed anthem, "I Got 5 on It". [2] Yukmouth signed a solo record deal at J-Prince's Rap-a-Lot Records, releasing four albums. His double album debut on the label, entitled Thugged Out: The Albulation , went gold. [3] Under his own label, Smoke-a-Lot Records, he has released DVDs and compilation albums, such as the United Ghettos of America series.
Yukmouth is CEO of Smoke-A-Lot, which is distributed by Rap-a-Lot Records. The label is home to established artists such as Luniz, Dru Down, Thug Lordz (Yukmouth, C-Bo and Spice 1), The Regime, and Yukmouth himself.

Godzilla Entertainment was an American record label founded and owned by rapper Yukmouth of the popular 1990s rap group The Luniz, and operated by both Yukmouth and Kat Gaynor (who also acts as Yukmouth and The Regime's manager). The name comes from Yukmouth's popular 2003 album, Godzilla. It was initially created to serve as an independent record distribution company for official mixtapes released on Smoke-A-Lot Records. The first few releases through Godzilla was the heavily popular All Out War mixtape series which were done as a joint venture with the Cali Untouchable DJs and Rapbay.com. The initial logo featured an edited version of the Aston Martin logo which was later replaced by a more independent logo which features the Smoke-A-Lot Records dragon logo encircled by the words "Godzilla Ent.". In May 2007 Yukmouth closed down the label and merged all of its duties with the parent Smoke-A-Lot Records after pressure from Toho Co. Ltd., the owners of the name Godzilla.
Upon receiving pressure from the owners of the copyright to the name Godzilla, Yukmouth closed down the Godzilla subset label and now releases projects solely on the Smoke-A-Lot Records imprint. All media pertaining to the name Godzilla, including logos, t-shirts and other media were removed from the official Smoke-A-Lot website shortly after.

He has spent much of his career affiliated with Swishahouse, and has released several albums under the label and collaborated with numerous other rappers signed to the label. He began his career performing alongside fellow Houstonian Chamillionaire, with whom he released several albums, including 2002's independently released Get Ya Mind Correct. Luniz is an American hip hop duo from Oakland, California, formed by West Coast rappers Yukmouth and Numskull. They were signed to Noo Trybe Records and C-Note Records. They were the flagship act for C-Note Records. The group is best known for the internationally successful hit in 1995 titled "I Got 5 on It", known as a weed-smoking anthem.

The recording sessions took place at Enterprise Studio in Burbank) and at the Hippie House in Houston. The production was handled by Mike Dean, Mr. Lee, Don Juan, Tone Capone and Keith "88-Keys" Kinlow, with J. Prince serving as executive producer. It features guest appearances from his Regime groupmates Phats Bossilini, Tech N9ne, Madd Maxx and Poppa LQ, a former Luniz partner Numskull, West Coast hip hop acts MC Ren, Outlawz and Tha Dogg Pound, several labelmates from Rap-A-Lot roster, such as the 5th Ward Boyz, DMG, Do or Die, Scarface and Willie D, as well as Fa Sho, Big Lurch, Tela and Val Young among others. Cashville Records is an American independent record label based in Nashville, Tennessee founded by rapper Young Buck. Initially founded as a southern branch of 50 Cent's G-Unit Records, the label became "Cashville Records" in late 2007 after a dispute between 50 Cent and Young Buck led to Buck being banned from using the G-Unit logo or name to distribute his music.
