Zvonko Monsider was a Croatian football goalkeeper. He played for both the Croatian and Yugoslavian national teams.

Playing career

Club

He started his career with Ferraria Zagreb before moving to Concordia Zagreb in 1939. He played with Concordia until the establishment of the new regime club Dinamo Zagreb. Monsider was one of three Concordia players to move to the new club (along with Vinko Golob and Slavko Beda).

International

He made his debut for the Independent State of Croatia, a World War II-era puppet state of Nazi Germany, in a June 1942 friendly match away against Slovakia and played 6 games for that team, scoring no goals. After the war he played for Yugoslavia, collecting another 7 caps and his final international was a September 1947 Balkan Cup match away against Albania. [1]

Managerial career

He later became a manager with Sabadell, [2] Barakaldo CF, [3] UE Sants, Terrassa FC, [4] CE L'Hospitalet. [5]

Stadion Koturaška, also referred to as Građanski Stadium was a football stadium in Zagreb, Croatia. It was located at Koturaška Road in today's Trnje neighbourhood and was home to the football club Građanski Zagreb for more than 20 years, from 1924 to 1945. After World War II and the dissolution of Građanski it was taken over by the newly formed NK Dinamo Zagreb who used is as their home ground until 1948 when they moved to their present-day home at Stadion Maksimir. Koturaška was eventually abandoned and demolished in the early 1950s.

Anastasio Bienzobas Ocáriz, also known as Cuqui Bienzobas was a Spanish footballer in the 1930s and 1940s, in which he played for Real Sociedad, Club Atlético Osasuna and Deportivo de la Coruña. He played in the midfield position. He was known by his nickname, Cuqui, to distinguish him from his brothers Custodio and Paco, soccer players with whom he met at Real Sociedad and Osasuna. After his retirement as a footballer, he was a coach, managing Deportivo de la Coruña, CA Osasuna, SD Eibar and Pontevedra CF.
