The Îlot Pasteur is a building on the western edge of Monaco under construction since 2016. It will be home to a new middle school, a post office, a recycling center, a data center, an underground carpark, etc. [1] [2]

Its construction was announced in 2013, [3] and it began in January 2016. [1] [2] [4] The building is designed by architects Christian Curau and François Lallemand. [3]

He was the archivist of the Prince's Palace of Monaco from 1906 to 1939. He was the author of many books about prominent families from Provence, the city of Avignon, and the principality of Monaco.

The historical villas of Monaco represent a significant example of residential architecture. Originally seen as symbols of Belle Epoque luxury, they were once emblematic of the principality itself. However, by the 1950s they were viewed by Monaco's Consultative Committee on Public Works as a social anachronism. While recent years have seen a renewed appreciation within the principality for villa architecture, the number of historic villas remaining declines each year. In 1954 the principality possessed 688 villas; only a small fraction of that number still survive.

Rue du Cloître-Saint-Benoît was a now-disappeared street in the Sorbonne district of Paris, demolished to build the present rue des Écoles. It was named after the cloister of the église Saint-Benoît-le-Bétourné and just before the French Revolution it fell within that church's parish. It was made part of the Chalier sector during the Revolution - that sector was renamed the Sorbonne district when the original 11th arrondissement of Paris was formed in 1795.
