The .22 Creedmoor, is a SAAMI-standardized rimless tapered bottleneck rifle cartridge standardised by Hornady but had been used as a wildcat cartridge since the late 2000s. [1] [2]
.22 Creedmoor was announced in August 2023 by Hornady and was released in 2024.
The cartridge was designed for varmint hunting, deer‑sized game and long‑range target shooting. [3]
