Formula One, commonly known as Formula 1 or F1, is the highest class of international racing for open-wheel single-seater formula racing cars sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). The FIA Formula One World Championship has been one of the world's premier forms of racing since its inaugural running in 1950. The word formula in the name refers to the set of rules all participants' cars must follow. A Formula One season consists of a series of races, known as Grands Prix. Grands Prix take place in multiple countries and continents on either purpose-built circuits or closed roads.
Sir John Arthur "Jack" Brabham was an Australian racing driver and motorsport executive, who competed in Formula One from 1955 to 1970. Kauhsen was a Formula One constructor from Germany, founded by former sportscar driver Willi Kauhsen. The team started in Formula Two in 1976, purchasing Renault cars, and raced with an assortment of drivers with limited success. Kauhsen then entered the 1979 Formula One season, spending 1978 designing their own chassis with Cosworth engines. They participated in two World Championship Grands Prix with Gianfranco Brancatelli, failing to qualify on both occasions, before the team was shut down.

The Circuit de Charade, also known as Circuit Louis Rosier and Circuit Clermont-Ferrand, is a motorsport race track in Saint-Genès-Champanelle near Clermont-Ferrand in the Puy-de-Dôme department in Auvergne in central France. The circuit, built around the base of an extinct volcano, was known for its challenging layout which favored the most skillful drivers and motorcyclists. It hosted the French Grand Prix four times and the French motorcycle Grand Prix ten times.

A season-long, points-based, National Championship of drivers has been officially recognized in 1905, 1916, and each year since 1920. As such, for many years, the category of racing was known as Championship car racing. That name has fallen from use, and the term Indy car racing has become the preferred moniker.
Retford Gamston Airport is a small English airport, located 2 NM south of Retford and close to Gamston, Bassetlaw in Nottinghamshire. The Grand Prix of Cleveland was an Indy car event in the CART series, held annually at Burke Lakefront Airport in Cleveland, Ohio, United States. The race was most recently held in 2007. After the 2008 open wheel unification, the 2008 race was cancelled. Attempts to revive the race have not yet come to fruition.
The Tyrrell 006 was a Formula One car designed and built by the Tyrrell Racing Organisation. It was introduced towards the end of 1972. In the hands of Jackie Stewart it won the Drivers' Championship for the 1973 Formula One season, Stewart's third and final title. The car was first raced at the 1972 Canadian Grand Prix with Stewart's teammate and protégé François Cevert at the wheel. The 006 was a very slightly reworked version of the preceding Tyrrell 005 car, but in contrast it was the first Tyrrell-built models to be replicated, the number 006 becoming a model- rather than chassis-number; previous Tyrrells were one-off constructions. In total there were three Tyrrell 006 chassis built: 006; 006/2; and 006/3. The 006 model was gradually phased out in the early part of the 1974 Formula One season as Tyrrell constructed the succeeding Tyrrell 007.

The BAR 005 was the car with which the British American Racing Formula One team competed in the 2003 Formula One season. The car was driven by Jacques Villeneuve and Jenson Button, the former being replaced by test driver Takuma Sato for the last race of the season. The team's test driver was Anthony Davidson along with Sato. The BAR 005 was officially launched at Circuit de Catalunya, Spain on 14 January.
The Tyrrell 004 is a Formula One racing car which was designed for the 1972 Formula One season by Tyrrell's Chief Designer, Derek Gardner. It is the fourth and final car built of the basic Tyrrell 001 design. The 004 was seen in five races, three with Tyrrell: Jackie Stewart drove the 004 in the Monaco Grand Prix to finish 4th; the Scotsman was also scheduled to drive it in the Belgian Grand Prix, but a stomach ulcer put him out of the race, and the team did not use a replacement driver. Patrick Depailler drove the 004 in the French Grand Prix and was not classified, and the Frenchman was given one more opportunity in the 004 for the United States Grand Prix and finished 7th.
Skövde Airport is an airport located in Skövde and was inaugurated in 1989. The airport was built as Skövde's replacement for the failed project for a joint airfield, Skarlanda, for Skaraborg County near Axvall outside Skara. Lidköping-Hovby Airport and Falköping Airport were also built after Skarlanda was not implemented.
