The 1. Liga ragby XV is the second level of domestic club rugby union in the Czech Republic, below the first division, the Extraliga ragby XV. There is also one club from Slovakia in the league.

The season runs from mid-September to the end of May.

History

The league started out as the Druhá Liga (Second League), but was renamed the První Liga (First League) in the 1999-2000 season. For sponsorship reasons it has been called KB První Liga until the 2015/16 season.

The 2012–13 Czech 2. Liga was the 20th season of the Czech Second Division, the second tier of the Czech football league. The season began on 4 August 2012 and finished on 5 June 2013. In addition to the two lowest-placed clubs being relegated, third-placed HFK Olomouc were also relegated due to financial difficulties.

The 2022–23 Czech First League, known as the FORTUNA:LIGA for sponsorship reason, is the 30th season of the Czech Republic's top-tier football for professional clubs since its establishment, in 1993. FC Viktoria Plzeň are the reigning champions. The season started on 30 July 2022. The first half of the season will have 16 rounds, finishing on 13 November 2022 because of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, and the other half will commence on 28 January 2023. The season is expected to end on 28 May 2023 with two extra play-out fixtures on 1 and 4 June 2023.
