13 Block

13 Block is a French hip hop group originating from Sevran, Seine-Saint-Denis. It was formed in 2012, and is made up of the artists Stavo, Zed, Zefor and OldPee, all from the Beaudottes area in Sevran. It is inspired by American-based drill from Chicago and trap from Atlanta. They have released two albums and a number of mixtapes. [1]

He was born with the melanin deficient condition, albinism and chooses to wear a balaclava, because when his musical activities began, he had to hide his face as his mother did not want him to rap. However, he received positive reactions for wearing the balaclava, and now wears it by choice. He is signed to Def Jam Recordings and Universal Music. He collaborates often with Kaaris, with whom he notably made the song "Arrêt du Cœur" on his album R.A.S.

His first name Moha is derived from his birth name Mohamed and La Squale is the nickname of his big brother in the neighborhood. Nabil Boukhobza, better known by the stage name Naps, is a French rapper of Algerian origin. Coming from the Air Bel suburb of Marseille, he started rapping in 2001 at the age of 15. Two years later he formed Click 11.43 with two other rappers, KOFS and Sahime. The formation had considerable following particularly with the incarcerated population in France. Naps also released his own solo materials and collaborated with many other rappers. In January 2020, Naps announced that he has stopped all artistic activity and has destroyed his gold certified album.

Ruben Louis better known by the stage name Timal is a French rapper born in Saint-Denis, Seine-Saint-Denis and grew up in Champs-sur-Marne, Seine-et-Marne. His Guadeloupean origin inspired to take the name Timal. In 2016, he started posting freestyles on Daymolition's YouTube channel, which gives coverage to young rappers, and became popular with the freestyle series "Rapport". On 27 April 2018, he released his first studio album Trop chaud that was certified gold. He followed it up with album Caliente in 2020 with collaborations from Maes, Leto and PLK.

Henoc Pierrick Bofenda, better known by his stage name Leto, is a French rapper and part of the duo PSO Thug, a French hip-hop duo from the 17th arrondissement of Paris. PSO part refers to their origin as they come from Porte de Saint-Ouen and are made up of Leto alongside Aéro. In 2014, they started with "Hors la loi". In February 2015, they published the precursor to their mixtape, entitled En attendant Demoniak. The duo released their first mixtape, named Demoniak, on May 20, 2016, and sold 1,319 copies in its first week of release.
