The 17th annual Ale Kino! International Young Audience Film Festival was held from 26 April to 1 May 1999. A number of 43 movies took part. [1]

Ale Kino! International Young Audience Film Festival

Ale Kino! International Young Audience Film Festival is an international movie event held in Poznań in Poland since 1969. The festival focuses on more ambitious cinema addressed to children and young people. The main organizer of the festival is Children's Art Center in Poznań.

The movies were presented in four cinemas in Poznań: Apollo, Olimpia, Muza and Gwiazda. [2]

The movies were judged by professional and children jury, as well as by International Centre of Films for Children and Young People (CIFEJ).

The Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau Foundation is based in Wiesbaden and chartered to preserve and curate a collection of the works of Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau as well as a collection of other German films totaling to about 6,000 produced between 1890 and 1960. The foundation is owned by the Federal Republic of Germany. The "private non-profit foundation" was founded in 1966 out of fear that classic German cinema's original stock, and the rights to these films, would be sold off internationally. The stock was originally owned by Bertelsmann. The foundation maintains about 80% of Germany's forbidden Nazi-era films and acts as a gate keeper for public access to these films via archives and curated public screenings.

Alias Maria is a 2015 Colombian drama film directed by José Luis Rugeles Gracia. It was screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival. It received the Golden Goats Award for the Best Feature Movie for the Young People at the 2016 Ale Kino! Festival. It was also selected as the Colombian entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 89th Academy Awards but was not nominated.

The 33rd annual Ale Kino! International Young Audience Film Festival was held from 29 November to 6 December 2015. A number of 157 movies, released between the years of 1965 and 2015 took part.

The 16th annual Ale Kino! International Young Audience Film Festival was held from 27 April to 1 May 1998. A number of 47 movies took part.

The 32nd annual Ale Kino! International Young Audience Film Festival was held from 30 November to 7 December 2014. A number of 115 movies, took part, some of them only in the non-competitive section.

The 18th annual Ale Kino! International Young Audience Film Festival was held from 15 to 20 May 2000. A number of 54 movies took part.

Children KinoFest is an annual international film festival for children and teenagers, founded in Kiev, Ukraine in 2014. The festival takes place at the end of May, and is held in various Ukrainian cities. This national event, held throughout the country cultivates an appreciation film and an introduction to the filmmaking industry to the young public. Owlet Charlie is a logo, mascot and symbol of Children KinoFest. This character is based on the picture, created by 7-year-old Artem Rassadnikov from Donetsk. Charlie is named after the great Charlie Chaplin, who attended 125 years in 2014. The event has recently partnered with Odessa International Film Festival, also based in Ukraine.
