The 18th annual Ale Kino! International Young Audience Film Festival was held from 15 to 20 May 2000. A number of 54 movies took part. [1] [2]

Contents

The movies were presented in four cinemas in Poznań: Apollo, Olimpia, Rialto and Muza. [3]

The movies were judged by professional and children jury, as well as by International Centre of Films for Children and Young People (CIFEJ).

The Italian is a 2005 Russian drama film directed by Andrei Kravchuk. The screenplay by Andrei Romanov, inspired by a true story, focuses on a young boy's determined search for his Mother. The film won the Grand Prix of the Deutsches Kinderhilfswerk from the International Jury at the 55th Berlin International Film Festival, and a Special Mention from their Children's Jury and was also selected as the Russian entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 78th Academy Awards, but it didn't make the final shortlist. It received generally positive reviews from critics.

Ale Kino! International Young Audience Film Festival is an international movie event held in Poznań in Poland since 1969. The festival focuses on more ambitious cinema addressed to children and young people. The main organizer of the festival is Children's Art Center in Poznań.

The 33rd annual Ale Kino! International Young Audience Film Festival was held from 29 November to 6 December 2015. A number of 157 movies, released between the years of 1965 and 2015 took part.

The 16th annual Ale Kino! International Young Audience Film Festival was held from 27 April to 1 May 1998. A number of 47 movies took part.

The 32nd annual Ale Kino! International Young Audience Film Festival was held from 30 November to 7 December 2014. A number of 115 movies, took part, some of them only in the non-competitive section.

The 17th annual Ale Kino! International Young Audience Film Festival was held from 26 April to 1 May 1999. A number of 43 movies took part.

Children KinoFest is an annual international film festival for children and teenagers, founded in Kyiv, Ukraine in 2014. The festival takes place at the end of May and is held in various Ukrainian cities. This national event, held throughout the country cultivates an appreciation of film and an introduction to the filmmaking industry to the young public. Owlet Charlie is a logo, mascot, and symbol of Children KinoFest. This character is based on a picture created by 7-year-old Artem Rassadnikov from Donetsk. Charlie is named after Charlie Chaplin, whose 125th birthday was in 2014. The event has recently partnered with Odesa International Film Festival, also based in Ukraine.
