Ebbsfleet United Football Club is a professional association football club based in Northfleet, Kent, England. The club compete in the National League, the fifth level of English football league system.
Dover Athletic Football Club is a semi-professional association football club based in the town of Dover, Kent, England. The club currently competes in the National League South, the sixth tier of English football. The club was formed in 1983 after the dissolution of the town's previous club, Dover F.C., whose place in the Southern League was taken by the new club.

Affiliated to the Kent County Football Association, the club reformed in 2007 and were the first football club to be formed as a community interest company.
Gravesend United Football Club was a football club based in Gravesend, Kent. The club evolved from the Gravesend Football Club and was initially founded in 1893. It disbanded on two occasions in 1902 and 1914 and subsequent reformed in 1903 and 1931. It finally dissolved in 1946 when it amalgamated with Northfleet United to form Gravesend & Northfleet F.C.
Dover F.C. was a football club based in Dover, Kent, England. The club joined the Kent League in 1894, but folded in 1901. Dover FC was revived a year later, this time as a purely amateur club, and rejoined the Kent League, but folded again in 1909. In 1920, the club reformed, this time as Dover United FC and played in local leagues but disbanded for the third time in 1933. A further incarnation of the club came under the name Dover FC, began play a year later, and then folded in 1947.
The 1890–91 Football League was the third Football league season. After dominating and being crowned champions for the first two football league seasons Preston North End slipped to second and Everton won the league with a two-point gap. Meanwhile, there had been changes in the league since the last football league season, Stoke had not been re-elected to the football league, so joined the rival Football Alliance. They were replaced with Sunderland, who were nicknamed "the team of all talents" at the time.
