The Scottish Amateur Football Association (SAFA) is the organising body for amateur football across Scotland. An affiliate of the Scottish Football Association, the SAFA has in turn 50 regional associations affiliated to it and some 67 different league competitions organised by these associations. Willunga Football Club

The Willunga Football Club is an Australian rules football club first formed on 29 May 1874, making it the second oldest constituted football club in South Australia behind Port Adelaide.

The 1903 SAFA Grand Final was an Australian rules football game contested between Port Adelaide and the South Adelaide Football Club at the Adelaide Oval on 12 September 1903. It was the 8th instalment of the Grand Final of the South Australian Football Association, staged to determine the premiers for the 1903 SAFA season. The match, attended by 14,000 spectators, was won by Port Adelaide by a margin of 7 points, marking the club's first premiership in its Wharf Pylon guernsey and the club's fourth SAFA premiership victory overall.

Gawler Football Club

The Gawler Football Club was founded on 21 August 1868. In 1877 it was a foundation club of the South Australian Football Association. It had a period of hiatus from the end of 1880 to 1886 when the club split into Athenian and Havelock. The clubs joined together again for the 1887 SAFA season along with Albion. However, in the 1890 SAFA season the club finished bottom and decided to leave the Association and form its own league in 1891.
