First Division

The Paraguayan first division championship was played for the "Copa El Diario", a trophy issued by the newspaper of the same name. Six teams participated in the tournament which was played in a two-round all-play-all system, being the team with the most points at the end of the two rounds the champion. Club Libertad won its first championship after defeating Atlántida SC in a playoff game.

The 2010 División Profesional season was the 76th season of top-flight professional football in Paraguay. It was the third season in which a champion was crowned for each tournament.

The 2018 Copa Paraguay was the first edition of the Copa Paraguay, Paraguay's domestic football cup competition. The competition ended with Guaraní winning their first title after beating Olimpia 5–3 on penalties in the final following a 2–2 draw. Guaraní, as the winners, were awarded a berth into the 2019 Copa Sudamericana.

The 2019 División Profesional season was the 85th season of top-flight professional football in Paraguay. The season began on 22 January and ended on 15 December. The fixtures for the season were announced on 13 December 2018. Olimpia were the defending champions after winning both tournaments of the 2018 season, and won a third championship in a row in the Torneo Apertura with three matches to spare after defeating Deportivo Santaní by a 6–0 score on 4 May. Olimpia also crowned themselves in the Torneo Clausura, winning a fourth title in a row with one matchday remaining, following a 2–2 draw at home against Guaraní on 8 December.

The 2020 División Profesional season was the 86th season of the Paraguayan Primera División, the top-flight professional football league in Paraguay. The season began on 17 January and ended on 30 December. The fixtures for the season were announced on 16 December 2019. Olimpia were the defending champions after winning both tournaments of the 2019 season.

The 2021 Copa Paraguay was the third edition of the Copa Paraguay, Paraguay's domestic football cup competition. Originally known as the 2020 Copa Paraguay, the competition was scheduled to start on 14 April 2020 and conclude in late 2020, with the winners qualifying for the 2021 Copa Sudamericana as well as the 2020 Supercopa Paraguay against the Primera División champions with better record in the aggregate table.

The season began on 5 February and ended on 5 December 2021. The fixtures for the season were announced on 15 January 2021. Olimpia were the defending champions after winning the 2020 Clausura tournament.

The 2023 Primera División season is the 89th season of the Paraguayan Primera División, the top-flight professional football league in Paraguay. The season will consist of two tournaments, Apertura and Clausura, and it began on 27 January and will end on 11 December 2023. The fixtures for the season were announced on 14 November 2022.

The 2023 División Intermedia season, named "Homenaje a Don Alejandro Dos Santos", will be the 105th season of the second-tier league of Paraguayan football and 26th under the Paraguayan División Intermedia name. The season will begin on 31 March and is scheduled to end on 9 October 2023, and the fixtures for the season were announced on 14 December 2022.
