The 1911-12 season was the edition X of the Liga Mexicana de Football Amateur Association. Only 3 teams participated, after the team "British-Popo" was divided and then British Club withdrew and Popo Park was dissolved. It was the first season with a playoff match between Reforma and Pachuca, in which the winner was Reforma.

Club de Fútbol Indios de Ciudad Juárez, commonly referred as Indios de Ciudad Juárez or simply Indios, was a Mexican football club. Founded in 2005 when CF Pachuca moved its Pachuca Juniors to Ciudad Juárez, it was promoted to the Primera División de México after the 2007–2008 season, with Pachuca divesting its shares upon promotion. However, the team was relegated back to the Liga de Ascenso following the 2010 Clausura and folded in 2016.

Club de Fútbol Pachuca is a Mexican professional football club based in Pachuca, Hidalgo, that competes in Liga MX. It was founded in 1892 by the "Compañia Real del Monte y Pachuca" (CRDMyP), a Mexican mining company which had mostly British miners workers from Camborne and Redruth, who were the first to introduce football to Mexico. Nicknamed "Los Tuzos", it pays tribute and refers to the history and mining heritage of the club and the city of Pachuca. It was the first football club founded in Mexico, and was one of the founding members of the Liga Mexicana de Football Amateur Association.

The club is mostly known for its football team that played in the Liga Mexicana de Football Amateur Association prior to the development of the professional Mexican first division. The squad currently plays in an amateur league in Mexico City.

Formed on July 19, 1902 and the first match was held on October 19. It was organized by the Asociación de Aficionados de México en la Liga de Football, with 5 participating teams that played each other once in a round-robin format.
The 1920-21 season was the first divided into two leagues, the Liga Mexicana and Liga Nacional were played. After the expulsion of Tigres México from the league, España FC and España Veracruz withdrew in solidarity. España FC changed its name to "Real España" and decided to form their own league called Liga Nacional. Due to the separation of the leagues, both tournaments and champions were not recognized by the organizing body, which was the Asociación de Aficionados de México en la Liga de Football.

It was the last season before the leagues merged to create the first football federation (Federación de Foot-ball Asociación) and its new league called Campeonato de Primera Fuerza.

The teams Aurrerá and Reforma joined the league, Guerra y Marina changed its name to "Son-Sin", and the teams Tranvías and Luz y Fuerza merged to create a new club called Necaxa.

It was organized by the Asociación de Aficionados de México en la Liga de Football from 1902 to 1922. Orizaba won the league in its inaugural year. A total of 36 teams took part in this league from 1902 until 1943, when the league's professional era began.
