The 1920–21 Michigan State Normal Normalites men's basketball team represented the Michigan State Normal School, now Eastern Michigan University, in the 1920–21 NCAA men's basketball season. They were readmitted back into the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association for the 1920-21 season.^[2] The team finished with a record of 13–4 and won the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Championship. The team was led by head coach Elton Rynearson, in his fourth year. Boyd "Bill" Williams was the team captain.

In 1897 men's basketball is introduced at Michigan State Normal School. The inaugural team went 2–1. 1897–98 was the first season of basketball at the school, which would become Eastern Michigan University Eagles men's basketball team. L.P. Whitcomb was elected the basketball manager at the same meeting that basketball became an official school sport.

1898–99 was the second year of basketball at Michigan State Normal School. Both games were played at home against Albion College in Ypsilanti,Michigan. Michigan State Normal School ended up splitting the games and finished 1–1. The team captain was H.W. Conklin.

1899–1900 was the third year of basketball at Michigan State Normal School. Both games were played against Michigan State University. Michigan State Normal School ended up splitting the games and finished 1–1. It was the only year for coach Leslie A. Butler. John Miller was basketball Manager but resigned before any games where played.

The 1901–02 team went 1–0 the first and only undefeated season in school history. It was the first year for head coach Clayton T. Teetzel. The team captain was C.H. Ireland and the team manager was W.A. Whitney. R.C. Smith was elected captain for the following season's team.

The 1902–03 team finished with a record 1–5. It was the second and final year for head coach Clayton T. Teetzel. The team captain was R.C. Smith and team manager was C.B. Jordan.

The 1903–04 team finished with a record 2–6. It was the first year for head coach Wilbur P. Bowen. Wilbur Bowen became Eastern Michigan's first athletic director in 1903. The team captain was Wilbur Morris and C.B. Jordan was the team manager.

The 1904–05 team finished with a record 6–3. It was the second year for head coach Wilbur P. Bowen. The team captain was Edward O’Brien and the team managers were Herbert Chapman and John Thomas.

The 1905–06 team finished with a record 4–4. It was the third year for head coach Wilbur P. Bowen. The team captain was Roy S. Sprague.

The 1906–07 team finished with a record of 2–8. It was the fourth year for head coach Wilbur P. Bowen. The team captain was C.P. Steimle and the team manager was E.A. Stewart.

The 1908–09 team finished with a record of 6–5. It was the sixth and final year for head coach Wilbur P. Bowen. The team captain was Frank Head. Earl Babcock was the team manager.

The 1909–10 team finished with a record of 9–2. It was the 1st year for head coach Clare Hunt. The team captain was Howard McAllister. Former coach W.P. Bowen was the trainer and assistant coach. Howard McAllister was the team captain.

The 1910–11 team finished with a record of 4–8. It was the 2nd and last year for head coach Clare Hunter. The school yearbook list former coach Wilbur P. Bowen as the head coach. The team captain was L. Hindelang and Clare Milton was the manager.

The 1911–12 team finished with a record of 3–8. It was the 1st and only year for head coach Frederick Beyerman. The team captain was L. Hindelang and the captain elect was Mumford. John T. Symons was the manager.

The 1907–08 Michigan State Normal Normalites men's basketball team finished with a record of 3–5. It was the fifth year for head coach Wilbur P. Bowen. The team captain was Roland Chapman. The team manager was Leroy Stevens. The team closed "its season by defeating Mt. Pleasant and thereby winning the Normal championship of the state."

The 1917–18 team finished with a record of 14–1. It was the 1st year for head coach Elton J. Rynearson. Allen E. Morris was the team captain.

The 1918–19 Michigan State Normal Normalities men's basketball team finished with a record of 10–4. It was the 2nd year for head coach Elton J. Rynearson. Eddie Powers was the team captain.

The 1919–20 team finished with a record of 13–2. It was the 3rd year for head coach Elton J. Rynearson. Allen Morris was the Captain-Elect.

The 1922–23 Michigan State Normal Normalites men's basketball team represented the Michigan State Normal School, now Eastern Michigan University, in the 1922–23 NCAA men's basketball season. The team finished with a record of 14–8. The team was led by second year head coach Joseph H. McCulloch and assistant coach Young, along with manager Lee Spencer. Harold "Hogie" Osborn was the team Captain. Harold Dillon was the leading scorer for the Normalites.
