The 1956 Tour de Romandie was the tenth edition of the Tour de Romandie cycle race and was held from 10 May to 13 May 1956. The race started and finished in Geneva. [2] The race was won by Pasquale Fornara.

The Tour de Romandie is a stage race which is part of the UCI World Tour. It runs through the Romandie region, or French-speaking part of Switzerland. The competition began in 1947, to coincide with the 50-year anniversary of Swiss Cycling.
