The 1984 Crispa Redmanizers season was the tenth and final season of the franchise in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA).

Fortunato "Atoy" Co became the first PBA player to score 10,000 points by tallying 32 markers in Crispa's 107-111 loss to Northern Consolidated.(NCC) on May 1. [1]
On July 1, Crispa coach Tommy Manotoc, citing health reasons, resigns after leading the Redmanizers to the All-Filipino Conference finals by winning over Northern (NCC), 96-94. Assistant coach Narciso Bernardo takes over as Crispa's head mentor. [2]
The Crispa Redmanizers captured their 13th and final PBA crown by winning the First All-Filipino Conference title over Gilbey's Gin, four games to one. Coach Narciso Bernardo won his first title with the Redmanizers.
The Redmanizers return to the finals in the Invitational Championship. Crispa played Great Taste in the best-of-five finale. The Redmanizers lost Game one by a rout, but won the next two games to moved within a win of capturing another title. The Coffee Makers came back with a victory in Game four to tied the series and force a deciding fifth game.
On December 18, the Redmanizers trailed by as many as 28 points in the final quarter of Game five and lost to Great Taste, 106-127, in what turn out to be the final game of the winningest ballclub in the league.

The Crispa-Toyota rivalry was between the now-defunct PBA teams — the Crispa Redmanizers and the Toyota Tamaraws. The two teams dominated the PBA from 1975 to 1983, winning 21 out of the possible 26 PBA titles of those seasons. Such was their popularity that whenever these two teams met on the basketball court, the streets of Metro Manila and in the provinces would be virtually deserted, as most people especially the PBA fans, would be tuned to their TV and radio sets, watching or listening to the coverage of the game.
The Crispa Redmanizers were a multi-titled Filipino basketball team that played in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) from 1975 to 1984. It was one of the nine founding teams of the PBA, winning a total of thirteen PBA championships, including two grand slams. Founded in 1956 by businessman Valeriano "Danny" Floro, the team was owned by P. Floro and Sons, Inc. (defunct).

It was one of the founding members of the PBA, the Asia's first and oldest professional league. The franchise was owned by CFC Corporation and named after its brand of instant coffee, Great Taste Coffee. The franchise also played under other CFC brands such as N-Rich, Presto and Tivoli.
William "Bogs" Adornado is a Filipino former basketball player and coach. He is one of the Philippine Basketball Association's Greatest Players and was inducted to its Hall of Fame in 2005. He was a three-time PBA Most Valuable Player and is considered one of the best Filipino basketball players of all-time.
Tomás "Tommy" La'O Manotoc Sr. is a Filipino golfer and former basketball coach. As a basketball coach of several PBA teams, Manotoc won six PBA titles, including a grand slam with the fabled Crispa Redmanizers. Manotoc is the chairman emeritus of the Junior Golf Foundation of the Philippines (JGFP). He also served as president of the National Golf Association of the Philippines (NGAP) from 2012 to 2014. He occasionally writes as a sports columnist for the Philippine Daily Inquirer and was a TV panelist for the PBA coverage from 2000 to 2002.
Narciso C. Bernardo, also known as Ciso Bernardo, was a Filipino basketball player and coach. Bernardo was born in Manila, Philippines. He played for Ysmael Steel, Crispa and Mariwasa in the Manila Industrial and Commercial Athletic Association (MICAA). Bernardo also appeared at the Olympic Games as a member of the country's national basketball team. He coached the Crispa 400s in the MICAA and later the Crispa Redmanizers in the Philippine Basketball Association, where he guided the team to the 1984 PBA First All-Filipino Conference championship, which was to be Crispa's final PBA championship title.
