Abdullahi Adamu is a Nigerian politician who was the governor of Nasarawa State in Nigeria from 29 May 1999 to 29 May 2007. He is a member and former national chairman of the ruling Party All Progressives Congress (APC).
Alhaji Mohammed Dabo Lere was a Nigerian politician who served as the governor of Kaduna State from January 1992 to November 1993 during the Nigerian Third Republic, leaving office after the military coup that brought General Sani Abacha to power.

Incumbent PDP Governor Bala Mohammed initially declined to run for re-election, instead running for president. However, after losing the PDP presidential primary in May 2022, Mohammed was renominated in a rerun primary. Mohammed was re-elected as governor by a 9% margin over first runner-up and APC nominee — former Chief of the Air Staff Sadique Abubakar.

Lawal Adamu Usman, commonly known as Mr. LAA, is a Nigerian politician who currently serves as a senator representing the Kaduna Central Senatorial District in the 10th Nigerian National Assembly. He emerged as the senator-elect after the 2023 Nigerian general election, running on the platform of the People's Democratic party (PDP) with 250,066 votes. Mr. La defeated APC candidate, Muhammad Sani Abdullahi.
