The 1992 Nigerian Senate election in Lagos State was held on July 4, 1992, to elect members of the Nigerian Senate to represent Lagos State. Kofoworola Bucknor representing Lagos Central, Bola Tinubu representing Lagos West and Anthony Adefuye representing Lagos East all won on the platform of the Social Democratic Party. [1] [2] [3] [4]

Bola Ahmed Adekunle Tinubu is a Nigerian accountant and politician who has been national leader of the All Progressives Congress since the party's formation in 2013. However, criticism of the party's more pragmatic and less ideological political outlook associated with AG and UPN, has made many argue it was less of a worthy political heir. The Party had strong presence in the South West, Mid-West and North Central Regions. Lagos, Edo, Ekiti, Kogi, Ondo, Bauchi, Plateau, Niger, Adamawa, Oyo and Osun states by far accounts for majority of the party's presence and discernible power base.

Isiaka Adeleke Nigerian senator

Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke was a two time Nigerian senator who represented the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun State from 2007 to 2011 and was elected again under the banner of the All Progressives Congress in 2015. He became a member of the Nigerian Senate in 2007. He ran for re-election in April 2011 on the PDP platform, coming second with 77,090 votes. The winner was Mudasiru Oyetunde Hussein of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) with 121,971 votes.

Chief Abraham Aderibigbe Adesanya was a Nigerian politician, lawyer, activist, welfarist, and liberal progressive. He was the son of a famous and powerful traditional healer, the late Oloye Ezekiel Adesanya, who lived between the 19th and 20th centuries.

Kingsley Adeseye Ogunlewe is a Nigerian from a royal family of Igbogbo and politician who was elected Senator on the Alliance for Democracy (AD) platform 1999 for the Lagos East constituency, before he defected to the PDP. Peter Onyeluka Nwaoboshi is a Nigerian politician. He is the senator representing Delta North senatorial district in the Nigerian Senate. He is a senator of the 8th and 9th National Assembly. He was sacked shortly after being announced senator elect during the 2019 general elections by a Federal High Court in Abuja as Senator-elect on allegations that he was not validly elected by his political party. The Appeal Court in Abuja however overturned the decision on 30 May 2019. The lead judge held that the Federal High Court that nullified his election had no jurisdiction over the case.

The late Osinowo Sikiru Adebayo represented Lagos East but his death brought Tokunbo Abiru to replace him after a bye-election in 2020. All won on the platform of All Progressives Congress.

Oluremi Tinubu representing Lagos Central, Gbenga Bareehu Ashafa representing Lagos East and Solomon Olamilekan Adeola representing Lagos West all won on the platform of All Progressives Congress.

The 2011 Nigerian Senate election in Lagos State was held on April 11, 2015, to elect members of the Nigerian Senate to represent Lagos State. Oluremi Tinubu representing Lagos Central, Gbenga Bareehu Ashafa representing Lagos East and Ganiyu Solomon representing Lagos West all won on the platform of Action Congress of Nigeria.
