FC Urartu Armenian football club

Football Club Urartu, commonly known as Urartu, is an Armenian professional football team based in the capital Yerevan that currently plays in the Armenian Premier League. The club won the Armenian Cup three times, in 1992, 2007 and 2016. In 2013–2014, they won the Armenian Premier League for the first time in their history.

The 2006 Armenian Premier League season was the fifteenth since its establishment, and started on 14 April 2006. The last matches were played on 9 November 2006. FC Pyunik were the defending champions.

The 2006 Armenian First League season started on 1 May 2006. The last matches were played on 24 October 2006. Pyunik-2 became the league champions, but because they are a reserve team they were unable to promote to the Armenian Premier League. As a result, the second placed team Lernayin Artsakh was given promotion. Due to Banants-2 and Ararat-2 finishing in third and fourth position, the fifth placed team FC Dinamo Yerevan played in the promotion/relegation play-off, which was lost in the end.

The 2005 Armenian Premier League season was the fourteenth since its establishment, and started on 12 April 2005. The last matches were played on 6 November 2005. FC Pyunik were the defending champions.

1995–96 in Armenian football

1995–96 in Armenian football was the fourth season of independent football after the split-up from the Soviet Union. It was the first of two seasons in Armenia that were different from the others. Including the 1996–97 season these were the only winter competitions, while all other Armenian seasons were summer competitions. The Armenian Premier League for 1995–96 consisted of 12 teams of which the lowest ranked team would relegate to the Armenian First League. The eleventh ranked team would face the second ranked team from the First League in a promotion/relegation play-off.

2000 in Armenian football

2000 in Armenian football was the ninth season of independent football after the split-up from the Soviet Union. The Armenian Premier League for 2000 existed of 8 teams of which the lowest ranked teams would relegate to the Armenian First League. The seventh ranked team would enter the promotion/relegation play-off with the second ranked team of the First League. However it was decided that none of the Premier League teams would be relegated and four clubs were promoted from the First League, as well as FC Banants that was given a place at the highest level for the 2001 season. In the last few weeks Ararat, Zvartnots-AAL, Dinamo and Mika all refused to play once or more times as they were demanding fair play and claiming that referees penalised them repeatedly in favour of Araks that eventually won the title due to the awarded 3-0 victories in their favour.

The 2012–13 Armenian Premier League season was the twenty-first since its establishment. The season began on 24 March 2012 and ended on 18 May 2013, with two scheduled breaks between 2–27 July 2012 and 3 December 2012 – 8 March 2013. Ulisses are the defending champions, having won their first league title last season.

The 2017–18 Armenian Premier League season was the 26th since its establishment. The season began in August 2017 and concluded in May 2018. Alashkert were the defending champions from the previous season.

The 2000 Armenian First League season started on 21 April 2000. Armenicum became the league champions, and were promoted to the Armenian Premier League.

The 2003 Armenian First League is the 13th season of the Armenian First League. It started on the 1st of May and ended November 14. FC Kilikia from Yerevan became the league champions, and were promoted to the 2004 Armenian Premier League.
