Football Club Alashkert, commonly known as Alashkert is an Armenian football club based in the capital Yerevan, founded in 1990 in Martuni and after folding in 2000 re-founded in 2011. They currently play in the Armenian Premier League. The home stadium of the team is the Alashkert Stadium in Yerevan. The club headquarters are located on Saryan street 25, Yerevan. Although based in Yerevan they are in fact named after the historic Western Armenian town of Alashkert, now Eleşkirt in Eastern Turkey.

FC Dvin Artashat Football club

Dvin Artashat, is a defunct Armenian football club from Artashat, Ararat Province. It was founded in 1982 under the name Olympia Artashat. After the independence of Armenia, the club participated in the domestic competitions under the name FC Artashat, between 1992 and 1993. In 1995, the club was renamed FC Dvin Artashat. However, after the 1999 Armenian Premier League season, the club was dissolved and is currently inactive from any professional football in Armenia.

1999 in Armenian football

1999 in Armenian football was the eighth season of independent football after the split-up from the Soviet Union. The Armenian Premier League for 1999 existed of 10 teams of which the three lowest ranked teams would relegate to the Armenian First League. The seventh ranked team would enter the promotion/relegation play-off with the second ranked team of the First League. Only the winner of that competition was promoted directly.

In the 2001 Armenian Premier League, FC Pyunik were the champions.

Tigran Yesayan is an Armenian football former player and coach. He played striker for the Armenian national team and for several Armenian Premier League clubs.

The 2009 Armenian Premier League season was the eighteenth since its establishment. The season began on 21 March 2009 and ended on 7 November 2009. FC Pyunik were the defending champions.

Shirak Gyumri Sports Club, commonly known as Shirak is an Armenian professional sports club based in Gyumri. Shirak is known for its professional football team which is one of the oldest football clubs in Armenia, having been created in 1958. The club is the only team that participated in all seasons of the Armenian Premier League since its creation in 1992 until 2021. Shirak is one of the more successful clubs in Armenia, having won a total of 11 domestic titles including four Armenian Premier League titles, two Armenian Cup, and five Armenian Super Cup.

They regularly used the Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium in Yerevan and occasionally the City Stadium in Abovyan as their home ground.

FC Noah Armenian football club

Football Club Noah, commonly known as Noah is an Armenian professional football club based in the capital Yerevan. Founded in 2017 as FC Artsakh, they currently play in the Armenian Premier League.

The 2018–19 Armenian First League season is the 27th since its establishment. The season was launched on August 6, 2018, and concluded on June 13, 2019. Although Junior Sevan were reigned as champions, however, they did not gain promotion to the 2019–20 Armenian Premier League, due to not meeting the requirements of the Football Federation of Armenia to take part at the Armenian Premier League competition. Instead, runners-up Yerevan gained promotion, as they met the above-mentioned requirements.

The 2020–21 Armenian Premier League season is the 29th since its establishment.

The 2021–22 Armenian Premier League season is the 30th since its establishment.
