Hugh Donald McCutcheon, a native of Christchurch, New Zealand, is the former head coach of the US men's national volleyball team, the former head coach of the US women's national volleyball team, and the current head coach of the University of Minnesota's women's volleyball team.
Paula Jo Weishoff is a retired female volleyball player from the United States, who won two medals with the USA National Women's Team at the Summer Olympics: 1984 (silver) and 1992 (bronze).
Tara Cross-Battle is a retired female volleyball player from the United States, who won the bronze medal with the USA National Women's Team at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain. She played NCAA women's volleyball for California State University, Long Beach, where she helped lead her team to the 1989 NCAA Championship title. In 1990, she won the Honda-Broderick Award as the nation's best female collegiate volleyball player.
The Canada men's national volleyball team represents Canada in international volleyball competitions. The team placed third in the Pan American Games in 1979, 1999, and 2015. Canada's other achievements include a fourth place at the Los Angeles 1984 Olympic Games and two bronze medals at the Pan American Games in 1979 and 1999. They have participated in four Olympic Games, including most recently a fifth-place finish at Rio 2016, after returning to the Games following a quartercentury absence. Canada hosted the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto where they beat Puerto Rico for the bronze medal. Canada competed at the FIVB Volleyball Men's World Cup in 2015 for the first time in 12 years, finishing seventh. They last appeared in 2003, also finishing seventh. They finished joint-seventh at the 2014 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship.
The Puerto Rico women's national volleyball team is one of the more consistent teams of the NORCECA zone, Puerto Rico has taken one silver and two bronzes on the NORCECA Women's Volleyball Championship, one silver and two bronzes at the Pan-American Cup, and five silvers and one bronze at the Central American and Caribbean Games. The team has participated at least once in all FIVB competitions, except for the World Cup.

Robyn Mokihana Ah Mow-Santos is the head coach of the Hawaii Rainbow Wahine volleyball team and a former American indoor volleyball player. She is a setter on the USA national team and played at the 2000 Sydney Olympics, the 2004 Athens Olympics, and also played at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, helping Team USA to a silver medal. She worked as an assistant coach at the University of Hawaii Rainbow Wahine volleyball team until 2016, the 2015 season being most notable. And additionally, as of 2017, she’s head coaching a 15’s team at Na Keiki Mau Loa Volleyball Club.
Ryan Madsen Millar is an American volleyball player, a member of United States men's national volleyball team in 1998–2008, a participant of the Olympic Games, 2008 Olympic Champion, three times NORCECA Champion.
