Ohio County is a county located in southeastern Indiana. With a 2020 population of 5,940, and an area of just 87 square miles, Ohio County is the smallest county in Indiana by area and the least populous. The county seat and only incorporated municipality is Rising Sun. The county was officially established in 1844 and was one of the last Indiana counties to be created. He served as the head coach at the University of Maryland, the Ohio State University, Boston College, and American University. In 2002, he led Maryland to win the NCAA tournament championship. The NC State Wolfpack is the nickname of the athletic teams representing North Carolina State University. The conference schedule began on December 3, 2006, in Charlottesville, Virginia where Virginia defeated NC State 67–62. Following the season the 2007 ACC men's basketball tournament took place in Tampa, Florida with North Carolina claiming the crown.

Maryland Terrapins finished in second place, and defending champions Duke Blue Devils in third. Previously top-ranking teams such as North Carolina and Virginia came further down the table. The ACC tournament was won by Duke Blue Devils. The ACC also sent four teams to the NCAA tournament, which was won by Syracuse University, led by All-World Freshman Carmelo Anthony.
The 2002–03 Pittsburgh Panthers men's basketball team represented the University of Pittsburgh in the 2002–03 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. This was Pitt's first season playing in the Petersen Events Center. Led by head coach Ben Howland, the Panthers finished with a record of 28–5 and battled their way to the Sweet Sixteen of the 2003 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament. Following the season, Coach Howland left to become head coach of UCLA.
