The 2003–04 Serie A season was the 70th season of the Serie A, the top level of ice hockey in Italy. 15 teams participated in the league, and the HC Milano Vipers won the championship by defeating Asiago Hockey in the final.

Italian Hockey League - Serie A, formerly known as Serie A, is the top tier of professional ice hockey in Italy, which first began play in 1925. They are conducted under the authority of the Federazione Italiana Sport del Ghiaccio (FISG). As in the other top-level Italian sports leagues, the winners of the IHL - Serie A will wear the Scudetto the following season. The 1946–47 Serie A season was the 14th season of the Serie A, the top level of ice hockey in Italy. Hockey Club Milano won the championship by defeating HC Diavoli Rossoneri Milano in the final.
