The Serbia women's national volleyball team is governed by the Volleyball Federation of Serbia and takes part in international volleyball competitions.
The Japan women's national volleyball team, or All-Japan women's volleyball team, is currently ranked 7th in the world by FIVB. The head coach is Masayoshi Manabe.
Andrea Anastasi is an Italian professional volleyball coach and former player. He was a member of the Italy national team from 1981 to 1991, and during his career won the 1990 World Champion title. Since the 2023–24 season, he has been serving as head coach for Gas Sales Piacenza.
The Cuba women's national volleyball team was the first team to break the USSR's and Japan's domination in the world women's volleyball by winning the 1978 World Women's Volleyball Championship.
Hugh Donald McCutcheon, a native of Christchurch, New Zealand, is a former volleyball coach. He previously coached the US men's and women's national volleyball team, and was the head coach for the University of Minnesota's women's volleyball team from 2012 to 2022. Starting in January 2023, McCutcheon is the assistant athletics director/sport development coach at Minnesota, after announcing his resignation from the volleyball team at the conclusion of the 2022 season.
Julio Velasco is an Argentine former professional volleyball player and coach. He obtained Italian citizenship in 1992. Velasco was inducted into the Volleyball Hall of Fame in 2005. He is the head coach of the Italy women's national volleyball team, which he led to the gold medal in the 2024 Paris Olympics.
The Venezuela men's national volleyball team represents Venezuela in international volleyball competitions and friendly matches. In 1962 the squad claimed its first international medal at the South American Championship.
The South Korea women's national volleyball team represents South Korea in international volleyball competitions and friendly matches. It was one of the leading squads in the world in the 1970s, 1990s and 2010s, having won the bronze medal at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and placing fourth at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, Germany, the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, Great Britain and the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.
The South Korea men's national volleyball team represents South Korea in international volleyball competitions and friendly matches, governed by Korea Volleyball Association. The Republic of Korea (ROK) has competed in the Olympic Games eight times, but has not featured since the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia. The national team's best performance at the Olympic Games was 5th place at the 1984 Games in Los Angeles, California, United States. The national team at the FIVB World Championship competed nine times, with their best result at 4th place in 1978. On continental level, The national team won three gold medals at the Asian Games in 1978, 2002 and 2006. And at the Asian Championship, the national team won four gold medals, two of these was at home in 1989 Seoul and 2001 Changwon and the other two are in 1993 and 2003. The national team now ranks 28th in the FIVB World Rankings.
The Turkey women's national volleyball team is formed by the Turkish Volleyball Federation (TVF) and represents Turkey in international CEV and FIVB organizations.

Bernardo Rocha de Rezende, known as Bernardo Rezende and nicknamed Bernardinho, is a Brazilian volleyball coach and former player. He is the current coach of the female volleyball team Rio de Janeiro Vôlei Clube. Rezende is one of the most successful coaches in the history of volleyball, accumulating more than 30 major titles in a twenty-year career directing the Brazilian male and female teams.
José Roberto Lages Guimarães, known as Zé Roberto, is a Brazilian former volleyball player and current coach. He currently coaches Grêmio Recreativo Barueri. He played volleyball between years 1967–1988 as a professional player and has coached since 1988. He first coached Brazilian women team Eletropaulo. He competed in the men's tournament at the 1976 Summer Olympics.
