Kilmoyley were the defending champions. [1] [2]

The final was played on 3 October 2004 at Austin Stack Park in Tralee, between Kilmoyley and Causeway, in what was their first ever meeting in the final. Kilmoyley won the match by 2–15 to 2–09 to claim a record-equalling 20th championship title overall and a fourth title in succession. [3] [4]

Causeway's John Mike Dooley was the championship's top scorer with 3-24.
