2008 FIFA Futsal World Cup

The 2008 FIFA Futsal World Cup was the sixth edition of the FIFA Futsal World Cup, the quadrennial international futsal championship contested by the men's national teams of the member associations of FIFA. It was the first tournament to use the term "World Cup". It was held between 30 September and 19 October 2008 in Brazil. It was the only Futsal World Cup to feature 20 teams.

The 2008 African Futsal Championship took place in Tripoli, Libya from 21 March to 30 March 2008. The tournament served as a qualifying tournament for the 2008 FIFA Futsal World Cup in Brazil.

2008 Arab Futsal Championship

The 2008 Arab Futsal Championship hosted by the Egyptian city of Port Said was the fourth edition of the Arab Futsal Championship between December 23 and 29 2008. Ten teams took part, with Yemen making their futsal debut, and Syria making their competitive futsal debut after having previously played only 2 friendly matches. And Libya is the 2007 Arab Futsal champions.

Indonesia national futsal team

The Indonesian national futsal team represents Indonesia in international futsal competitions and is controlled by the Football Association of Indonesia. Indonesia has played fourteen times at the AFF Futsal Championship and nine times at the AFC Futsal Championship. The team never participate in any World Cup but won the AFF Futsal Championship once in 2010.

The Kazakhstan national futsal team is controlled by the Football Federation of Kazakhstan, the governing body for futsal in Kazakhstan and represents the country in international futsal competitions, such as the World Cup and the European Championships.

2012 FIFA Futsal World Cup

The 2012 FIFA Futsal World Cup was the seventh FIFA Futsal World Cup, the quadrennial international futsal championship contested by the men's national teams of the member associations of FIFA. It took place from 1 to 18 November 2012 in Thailand. An extra four teams were competing at this World Cup. This was the first FIFA men's tournament held in Southeast Asia since the Malaysia 1997 FIFA World Youth Championship, and was the first FIFA men's tournament held in the country, having hosted the 2004 FIFA U-19 Women's World Championship.

The Scottish Futsal league is the only official futsal affiliated body in Scotland delivering adult futsal for the Scottish Football Association under the guidance of the Scottish Amateur FA. Futsal is an internationally recognised sport, governed by FIFA and UEFA.

UEFA Futsal Euro 2014

The UEFA Futsal Euro 2014 was the ninth edition of the European Championship for men's national futsal teams organised by UEFA. It was hosted for the first time in Belgium, from 28 January to 8 February 2014, following a decision of the UEFA Executive Committee in December 2011.

The 2012–13 Iranian Futsal Super League are the 14th season of the Iran Pro League and the 9th under the name Futsal Super League. Shahid Mansouri are the defending champions. The season will feature 14 teams from the 2011–12 Iranian Futsal Super League and two new teams promoted from the 2011–12 Iran Futsal's 1st Division: Shahrdari Tabriz and Gaz Khozestan. The regular season, was played from 26 July 2012.

The 2013–14 Iranian Futsal Super League was the 15th season of the Iran Pro League and the 10th under the name Futsal Super League. Giti Pasand Isfahan were the defending champions. The season featured 12 teams from the 2011–12 Iranian Futsal Super League and two new teams promoted from the 2012–13 Iran Futsal's 1st Division: Giti Pasand Novin and Tasisat Daryaei. The regular season started on 1 August 2013.

The 2011–12 Liga Futsal Kebangsaan season was the 7th season of the Liga Futsal Kebangsaan (LFK), a fully professional futsal competition as the top tier men's category futsal league pyramid in Malaysia.
