<i>Arcana Unearthed</i> Tabletop role-playing game

Arcana Unearthed is a role-playing game created by Monte Cook and first published in 2003. Described as a "variant player's handbook", the 256-page hardcover core rulebook bears many similarities to the Player's Handbook of 3rd Edition Dungeons & Dragons, on which Cook worked a few years prior. Arcana Unearthed is based on the d20 system of Dungeons & Dragons, but because of the rules for character advancement, it cannot be an official d20 system product. It does, however, use the Open Gaming License.

Keith Baker (game designer) American writer and game designer

Keith Baker is a game designer and fantasy novel author. In addition to working with Wizards of the Coast on the creation of Eberron, he has also contributed material for Goodman Games, Paizo Publishing and Green Ronin Publishing. In 2014, Baker and Jennifer Ellis co-founded the indie tabletop game company Twogether Studios.

Green Ronin Publishing is an American company based in Seattle, Washington. Founded in 2000 by Chris Pramas, they have published several role-playing game–related products. They won several awards for their games including multiple Origins, ENnie, Pen & Paper, and Inquest Fan Awards.

Margaret Weis Productions, Ltd. is a games publisher located in Williams Bay, Wisconsin, United States and founded in 2004 after Margaret Weis and Don Perrin, the two founders of Sovereign Press, Inc divorced.

Steve Kenson is a writer and designer of role-playing games (RPGs) and related fiction.

The ENNIE Awards is an award ceremony devoted to role-playing game (RPG) products and their creators. The awards were created in 2001 by Russ Morrissey, of EN World, in partnership with Eric Noah's Unofficial D&D Third Edition News. Since 2002, the ceremony has been hosted at Gen Con in Indianapolis. Since 2018, EN World is no longer associated with the awards.

Paradigm Concepts, Inc. is a small-press game publishing company located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. They published the award-winning Arcanis campaign setting and managed the Living Arcanis campaign independent of the RPGA. Previously Arcanis operated as a d20 system campaign setting using the rules of Dungeons and Dragons. Arcanis is now featured in Arcanis the Roleplaying Game, being released summer 2011 and the Legends of Arcanis campaign - inheritor of the Living Arcanis history. They previously published the self-developed Witch Hunter: The Invisible World game-line. The company was founded by Henry Lopez, Nelson Rodriguez, and Eric Wiener in 2000.

Necromancer Games American role-playing game publisher

Necromancer Games was an American publisher of role-playing games. With offices in Seattle, Washington and Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, the company specialized in material for the d20 System. Most of its products were released under the Open Game License of Wizards of the Coast.

<i>Grimm</i> (role-playing game)

Grimm is a role-playing game, released by Fantasy Flight Games. The current version is a standalone game using the Linear D6 system. The Linear D6 version is a significant expansion of the original material, including a more fully developed setting, a monster manual and game mechanics, all of which were previously provided by the core D20 System rule books.

Evil Hat Productions is a company that produces role-playing games. Chief among them is the free indie RPG, Fate, which has won numerous awards. In 2005, the company began producing a series of commercial role-playing games using an updated version of the Fate system, each focusing on a different genre. These include the 1920s pulp adventure Spirit of the Century and the hard sci-fi Diaspora. In 2010 they released The Dresden Files RPG, based on the Dresden Files series of novels by author Jim Butcher. The FATE system has also been licensed to Cubicle 7 Entertainment who used it for Starblazer Adventures, based on the British Starblazer comic.

Robert J. Schwalb is a writer in the role-playing game industry, and has worked as a game designer and developer for such games as Dungeons & Dragons, A Song of Ice and Fire Roleplaying, Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, and many other RPG supplements.

Brian R. James

Brian R. James is a game designer and software engineer. As a writer, Brian is best known for his online and print works for the Dungeons & Dragons fantasy role-playing game published by Wizards of the Coast. In game design circles, Brian is highly regarded for his deep knowledge of the Forgotten Realms campaign setting and its extensive history. In 2012 Brian won a Silver ENnie Award for Monster Vault: Threats to the Nentir Vale and he has been nominated for other ENnie Awards and Origins Awards.

<i>The One Ring Roleplaying Game</i>

The One Ring Roleplaying Game is a tabletop role-playing game set in J. R. R. Tolkien's Middle-earth, in the time between The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. Designed by Francesco Nepitello and Marco Maggi, the first edition of the game was published by Cubicle 7 from 2011 to 2019. Nepitello and Maggi are currently working on the second edition, which is planned to be published by Free League Publishing under the same title, The One Ring Roleplaying Game.
