The 2007 WAFF U-15 Championship was the second edition of the WAFF U-15 Championship, the annual international youth football championship organised by the WAFF for the men's under-15 national teams of West Asia. It took place in Aleppo, Syria. Five teams entered the competition. [1]

Iran were the defending champions. Players born on or after 1 January 1992 were eligible to compete. [2]

Al-Ittihad Sports Club of Aleppo is a professional multi-sports club based in the Syrian city of Aleppo, mostly known for its football team which competes in the Syrian Premier League, the top league of Syrian football. Al-Ittihad is a sole founding member of Syrian Premier League that has never been relegated from the top division since its debut in 1966. Despite the nation being torn apart by civil war, Iraqi football in 2007 went as scheduled for the most part. Iraqi clubs participated in international competition, the Olympic team went through qualifications, and the national team played in different tournaments. No games by the national team or the Iraqi clubs were played in Iraq due to violence.

The 2010 WAFF Championship was the 6th edition of the West Asian Football Federation Championship, an international tournament for selected West Asian countries and territories. It was hosted by Jordan, after Lebanon was deemed not capable of hosting. The competition was eventually won for the first time by Kuwait, after beating defending champions, Iran.

The AFC First Round of 2002 FIFA World Cup qualification was contested between 40 AFC members.

The 2012 WAFF Championship was the 7th WAFF Championship, an international tournament for member nations of the West Asian Football Federation. It was hosted by Kuwait from 8 to 20 December 2012. The defending champions were Kuwait. However, they did not get past the group stage. The tournament was won by Syria for the first time.

A total of 9 teams will compete in the tournament. Jordan the defending champions will miss the tournament.

The 2019 WAFF U-15 Girls Championship is the 2nd edition of the WAFF U-15 Girls Championship, an international women's football youth tournament organised by the West Asian Football Federation (WAFF). It was held in Jordan from 12 to 16 December 2019. Lebanon won their first title undefeated.

The 2022 WAFF U-18 Girls Championship was the third edition of the WAFF U-18 Girls Championship, the international women's football youth championship of Western Asia organized by the West Asian Football Federation (WAFF). It was held in Lebanon from 19 to 25 October 2022.
